Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. It is a budget friendly choice. But, the bathroom was not clean and there was long dark hairs on the floor. The fridge still had someone else's Starbucks in it. There were little flies coming out of the sink. Likely will not stay again.

The AC was not very cool and made it difficult to relax

Amazing stay

To be fair, I answered all the rating questions without letting the roaches factor into the overall rating. I can deal with A LOT of things, but the bugs were a bridge too far. I didn't feel like waking up the manager to deal with this since it was about 6am when I left, because at that point the damage was already done. I did leave the bugs on the sheets where they'd been flattened in hopes the housekeeping staff would find them and be almost as appalled to find them as I was.

motel to the bare bone. they don't provide enough towels and toiletry. breakfast only waffle, cereal and banana. this is not continental. everything so cheap

Nice hotel for a good price

Very budget friendly motel. Room was clean and everything in good, working order. Great stay! The breakfast was decent and featured an automatic pancake machine that I have not seen anywhere else.

Traveled for Virginia to Chico, CA; stayed at various motels along the way. This motel is quiet, located away from busy roads and I only paid $67.00 a night. Room has an environmental unit, iron w/ board, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, and blow dryer; all work. Ice machine by office and continental breakfast with many off-site locations to eat. Room was clean and had more than needed lighting; many options depending on the mood desired. This will be my first stop when I visit Chico again.

Clean, friendly, comfortable bed, good location

This is my favorite place to stay in Chico. Comfy and homelike -- you can see the owners working on their lush garden in the evenings.

The breakfast 2as just rice crispness cereal or fruit loops The lady at the front counter lied to me I stayed 3 nights wanted to stay 1 more she said the rooms were all booked and when I got on booking.com there were 8 rooms available I could of booked and stayed and rubbed it in her face but figured why give her any more of my money so I left

The gentleman at the counter was very friendly. The room was super clean and was spacious. Great location, tucked back from the street a bit so it felt really safe, no riff raff wondering the parking lot. Food, gas ect. all nearby. EXCELLENT price, especially considering how clean and quiet it was.

Due to Chico State's graduation, the room rates jumped from $71 to $262 per night. Had I been charged the regular rate, I would not be leaving a review. I feel you get what you pay for most of the time. I wouldn't have high expectations to begin with and would have asked to switch rooms. However, one would think that if a business chooses to increase its rates by 269%, on a busy weekend when vacancies are limited, they might want to ensure they provide a clean room. The floor was so dirty it turned the bottoms of my feet black, and I had to wash them before putting my shoes back on. I found this strange due to the overpowering smell of cleaner upon entering the room; it was so strong we had to open the window and prop the door open to air the room out. There was no alarm clock, the sliver of complimentary soap was barely enough for one shower, and hot water was limited. The complementary continental breakfast consisted of Fruit Loops cereal, a tiny pancake machine that was in use constantly (busy weekend), and coffee. Overall, the atmosphere and workers were nice, the room was clean except for the floors, and it was what you would expect for $71.

Run down and dingy. Not very clean bathroom. Window covering had moth holes in it. On the plus side, air conditioning worked pretty well and there was plenty of hot water.

didn't have the breakfast TV didn't work, but I was gone most of the time, so I didn't watch much AC very noisy, but it was a cooler day, so I didn't really need it. Had it been a typical Chico summer day, that would have been a big issue The room key didn't work on the second day and had to be re-programmed - system may be old and in need of an upgrade
-
There was a breakfast but no fruit or eggs. We were told there would be pastries in the morning but they had not been set out.
-
Bed said Queen, but was actually full sized and poor mattress. Area was quiet and parking pretty well secured. Bed spread and blanket had burn holes. Pillows were old.
