Comfort Inn Cleveland Downtown

Wish it had more internal places to eat.

Bed was very comfortable. Room was clean.

Booked wrong date by mistake, hotel refused to let me reschedule to my correct date under the no cancellation no refund policy (booked for same day by mistake). Very unhelpful customer service, lost my business and now will rebook somewhere else.

There were no amenities whatsoever. The room was the smallest I've ever stayed in, and the price was grossly overpriced just because there was a concert in town that night. Over 500.00 a night for a Motel 6 level experience. The free breakfast was about what you'd expect anywhere, but the complimentary coffee station (clearly cheap instant coffee) was terrible. The only good thing about this hotel is it's a short walk to Rocket Mortgage stadium. Parking was a fiasco, you had to double park in most cases so if there was an emergency, good luck getting your vehicle out.

Good stay

The hotel is a little old and a bit run down but the location was perfect, parking was easy, the bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning was quiet and kept the room a perfectly cool. Biggest complaint was the toilet kept running all night and the sink drained slow. We had gone to the Rush concert at Rocket Arena and over slept breakfast.

Hotel and rooms are outdated. key card didn't work half the time and you had to jimmy the door knob up and down to get the door open. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was serviceable.

Close to Playhouse square would be the o Lu plus I can think of. Price was ridiculously high for this “hotel”

the card keys demagnetized when used. The staff should just re-code the room key instead of blaming guests. If you want a stay with more bells and whistles, pay more and book elsewhere. If you want an adequate room, this place is just fine.

The staff were pleasant and it was walking distance to the stadium but the hotel is very dated

Hotel was good for what I needed. The hotel just needs to be updated in my opinion . Was it dirty, no but how clean can you get a 30 yr old tub ?

This hotel was very close to Playhouse square which was why we picked it. We could easily walk. The room and bathroom were very dated, it needed fresh paint at least. The pillows were horrible. The street noise was terrible and it was very difficult to sleep.

Centrally located able to walk to most activities, with a great breakfast and courtesy staff

We were in town for the Rush concert. Walked to the show from hotel at Rocket arena, walked to the RRHF next day. Room was clean and comfortable, hot breakfast was a plus! I will stay again, next time I'm in town I'll stay again.

Clean room, easy parking and access to playhouse.

The property is in desperate need of repair. The staff is working with what they have to the best of their abilities. Our room has certainly seen better days. Patch up repairs on ceilings and walls, aged carpet, poor ventilation and antiquated room design not up to 21st century standards, let alone 20th. The elevators are reminiscent of the Hollywood Hotel at Disneys Tower of Terror. Although the hotel lies in an ideal location near CSU and Playhouse Square, along with a quality breakfast, think twice when booking.

Parking was extra, breakfast was mediocre, rate was exorbitant, room needed a refresh - carpet was nasty.
