I went the to visit my daughter who is on the Broadway National Tour of Death Becomes Her, which just opened at Playhouse Square. Death Becomes Her was Excellent. The Crown Plaza Cleveland not so much. The price was **way too high** for what we got. I paid $450 for two nights, plus parking, at a hotel with an extremely unpleasant lobby. It smelled like fresh raw sewage throughout the entire area. What a greeting! Parking was exorbitant at $55 per night. The shower had virtually no water pressure, so I had to wash my hair in the sink. Valet parking was fine, but a bit of a hassle. There were no ice or vending machines on the floors; they were only available in the lobby, where everything was extremely overpriced. Even the tap water tasted like swimming pool water. When I’m paying over $500 for a stay, I expect much more. This is a Crowne Plaza, for heaven’s sake, and it was nowhere near the standard of other places I’ve stayed for much less. **Never again.**

The hotel was good and they experienced to stay there for three days was wonderful I was expecting the Playhouse area to be much crowded, but unfortunately it was empty.

Super friendly staff in hotel and restaurant. Very accessible to all the theatres in Playhouse Square. We are returning to Cleveland next month and will stay here again!

Nice, clean hotel with good location. Buffet breakfast was average and disappointing for this size and quality of hotel. Valet staff had difficulty managing departures and arrivals which led to damage to my car; many cars were parked in front of hotel when we arrived - damage most likely occurred when another guest or valet driver was trying to maneuver another car around my vehicle, but I was not notified of any incident until I noticed the damage the next day. Investigation still in progress.
