Crowne Plaza Cleveland at Playhouse Square by IHG

The pool was adequate at best. The water was very cold and the pool did not look like it was cleaned properly or regularly. The fitness room was decent enough for a workout, as long as there were no more than 6 people in it at a time. The rooms were fine, no issues. Watch out for any preauthorized payments they put on your credit card. It took me over a month to finally get it reversed on my card. I have never waited this long with any other hotel so no idea why the exception is here. Keep track of this carefully.

Only concerns: toilet seat was not completely clean, and the shower door is glass and was not clean. The floor of the shower appeared to have red specs in the material which was off-putting. Other than that, the place was enjoyable!

We had a room that had an accessible shower which we thought was great until we used it and water was all over the floor and a mess. Other wise the space in the room was great

Nice place. Good breakfast. David was helpful at the front desk.

Restaurant needed more attentive service. Served frozen danish. All other staff were very attentive.

Great location, walking distance from lots of things Have to pay to park and it can get pricey.

So close to downtown, within walking distance to everything. We included parking with our reservation, which is VALET. I found this out after parking in the wrong garage.

Mini refrigerator sat on the floor. Why not a stand ? The ice machine on my floor was out of service the entire time I was a guest

Clean room

I had a great experience with this hotel everything was great. My only problem was the breakfast buffet I had there not recommended you can get much better breakfast with $19. But other than that the location and everything was awesome I was able to walk nearly everywhere around to visit theater, museum and all.

Great location. Quiet at night. Room was spacious.

Very nice staff & facility including pool & hot tub on the basement level. Definitely a plus for the winter. Restaurant menu was underwhelming. Very close to the major theaters. Neighborhood was clean & safe. My room was quite spacious and bed was very comfortable. For the price it was a bargain and I would stay there again, no doubt.

It’s a lovely hotel with welcoming staff and clean accommodations. It’s in the Playhouse area with a lot of theaters and places to eat. We walked to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in about 20 min. The Arcade was a few blocks away and a grocery store as well. Best place to stay for its walkability.

The vallet service was good

Bed was small tight for 2 people. Pool and hot tube was nice. Walking distance to most places we wanted to go to. Front desk help nice.
