Staff was great. Dining area was very clean. Elevator was filthy. Pool was dirty cloudy and had mold on stairs. Hot tub was a sickly green color for entire stay. No housekeeping unless I asked for it.

The facilities were nice enough. There were a couple misses though: the pool was green and had algae in it, the TV in the bedroom wasn’t connected to anything, the a/c in our room couldn’t keep up making the temp 76-78 during the day. We asked the front desk for ice and towels at one point and the women was less than helpful. When she directed us to a place for ice and we let her know if wasn’t dispensing any, she just shrugged, said sorry and went back to texting on her phone. Our room location was nice, the workout room was pretty well equipped and laundry room was free.

Hours after we arrived and unpacked into our room another guest in the laundry room/gym area using every washer/dryer shared that her room had bed bugs. (She was staying an extended period of time) She shared she had went to the doctor that day (she was visibly bit up) and they deemed possible bed bugs. The hotel staff confirmed this suspected event with me when I asked. We demanded a full refund and left that same night. The hotel did give us the full refund.

A great place to bring the kids 4-11. They enjoyed the breakfast. They were disappointed that they did not get to use the pool. Pool was closed due to another guest having an accident in the water. :(

The Breakfast crew tried their hardest to keep up and switch things up daily - sausage, eggs, biscuits and gravy, bacon, french toast were rotated. Fruit, cereal and waffles were their everyday. It was a nice breakfast! The Cleaning staff gave me towels everyday and any thing else I asked for. Nice pool and great hot tub until the night after it was filled with adults and then it was BAD!! Halls ok - staircase - need to be cleaned!! I would have given a better rating except the last night of our stay we lost A/C! I called down to the front desk they said they would call the manager and after an hour of waiting I went down and they said there was nothing they could do. They did give me 2 fans but we reached 78 degrees before we started the fans so it took a bit. they never offered anything for the loss either

The not so great parts: Needs maintenance and more cleaning. The patio where we ate breakfast had an over flowing garbage with pizza boxes and beer cans spilling out for the last 2 days we were there. One set of washer/dryers was out of order and the laundry room was a mess with dryer sheets and bits of Kleenex everywhere for 2 days. It was actually tracked out into the hallway too. The pool wasn’t open until noon. Garbage all over by the the dumpsters.

We were unable to access our room with our keys, and after four trips up and down to the lobby, the front desk finally sent someone upstairs to help. They were also unable to access the room. When we finally got in, our bathroom was brand new, but installed in a way that wouldn’t even close. The front desk did help us move to another room at that point. We made it to the pool, and discovered the hot tub was drained. They offered for us to use the neighboring hotel’s pool and hot tub, but their’s was also out of service. This stay was more work than relaxation with two young kids in tow.

The staff were super nice and helpful. We had a problem first night there with room we booked not available. They were upgrading lock systems in hotel. They called shared of time and gave me options. Made things right. The rest of the stay couldn’t have been any better. Staff cleaned our room daily and did a good job. The breakfast bar was very good and much better than usual continental breakfasts at hotels. Mon-wed they have a dinner also but we never were present to try it out. The hotel is in a great location for access to shopping etc. the back of the hotel has some nice trails you can go walk on with a little stream flowing through. Not sure if I was trespassing on someone else’s property or not but I don’t think so. Will gladly stay again when staying in Colorado Springs.

Good location, pet friendly w/fee. Breakfast buffet okay. Large room
-
Generally good, but some aspects of the property was 'tired', for example, new doors were starting to be fitted as exiting doors (including ours) had locks that took between 2 and 7 attempts to open. Staff was courteous, but leadership was clearly lacking. Overall, it was fine.

Breakfast was mediocre at best. It wasn’t staffed properly I’m assuming as food was always out as were clean dishes.
-
Love having a separate bedroom, and kitchen and TV sitting area. It’s makes traveling with others so much better. Breakfast had good options and real fruit bowl

I liked the front desk clerk was friendly Toilet would not stop running ,had to turn the water off, the rooms are run down and the price is ridiculous for what I got, the floors are so loud, I can hear everything from upstairs, every foot step, every time they sit, squeaking is frustrating! The outside was dirty, some person dumped the trash out of her car ,she had it so back she couldnt even see , the staff left her mess there, then someone picked up the other half and the rest is sitting there near the front entrance, was very disappointed as this was a relaxing weekend I spend money on, it wasnt at all! The glass on the cabinet in the kitchen are so dirty and smeared. I cleaned everything when I got here as I had no idea what was really done!!! Sad for the $$ I spent!

Good breakfast, clean and Very helpful staff.

The rooms were clean and so was the bathroom as far as on the surfaces. I found some trash under my bed from the previous person. There was a top to a drink from a gas station it looked like and some other food item container but I left it there. The breakfast was pretty much like other hotel breakfast. They didn't have the juice machine working Monday morning when I went down there. I was never told about the dinner social when I checked in and it didnt say anything about it when I booked it on hotels.com. I could have saved more $ on my trip would I have known that. The inside was clean but not the outside area so much. I thought there was alot of scum in the pool. It was very green the whole time we was there and I booked the hotel for the pool for the kids and the hot tub for myself and friend because we ran a trifecta spartan races over the weekend and needed someone warm to soak in to relax. It seems like everywhere you go the hot tub is closed. And it was looking really dirty in there. I just ended up taking warm baths to suffice. At least the water inside was super hot. The grill out there could have used some detailing on cleaning. I saw a bucket by the door on floor 1 going inside from the back with nasty water, gloves, cigarette butts just sitting there for a few nights. The basketball court could use fencing on the sides so kids aren't hitting vehicles out there. My car got hit once while I was sitting in it. No telling how many other times it happened.

We stayed for an extended weekend get away. It was a great experience. The hotel itself could use some upgrading. But overall it was a comfortable place to lay our heads while ventured out during the day.
-
There is no maintenance on the weekend, the room had a slow running toilet when we arrived. I had to have them find a plunger, so I could take care of it myself. We were told the pool was heated and ready for use, it was not

Room was very clean, but the breakfast needs help.

The eggs.
