Location and price were good. The air conditioning worked. The lobby was clean and the staff was attentive. Room 210 is not ready for guests. The bathroom sink knob is broken, so water temp cannot be changed. The paint on the backside of the bathroom door is severely peeling, leaving latex paint flakes on the floor. The pullout bed is terrible. The frame doesn't fully open preventing the center feet from touching the floor. The bed is in a constant v-shape forcing sideways sleeping. This room should be closed until maintenance work is performed.

Room condition was "worn", functional but "loose". Couch quite worn both for sitting and especially as a bed.

Breakfast was dry muffins. As other items were never available. Staff was great.

The staff that checked us in at 2 in the morning (late check in) was super helpful in making sure we got our room and was really kind as well. The room wasn't the cleanest but we were able to ask for brooms and sweep the room during our stay. Overall it was a good experience but cleanliness could use a bit more work.

KD was AMAZING! Location was great As a former GM, AGM & Executive Housekeeping Manager with many years in the hotel industry I was very disappointed at the overall cleanliness, and public area upkeeps. When the power went out in my home a made a same day reservation at this hotel due to how close it was to my home. From the outside/ entrance it looked well kept. However, while waiting in the lobby while the front desk agent was assisting other customers an older man was at the vending machine in his shirt, underwear, and socks. That was the first thing that gave me the impression of what to expect at this establishment. When it was my turn to check in, everything was fast, informative and very refreshing. Surely if I were still working in the industry, KD would have been someone I would want at my establishment! He is just a gem! He tried his best to accommodate my needs for me and my three children who were with me. There were no pans or cups left, but I did get the bottom floor accommodation I requested. The lobby was clean, the hallway leading to my room was clear and free of any trash or anything. The housekeeping and general upkeep of the appliances and amenities is ANOTHER story! Upon entering my room I saw that was booked as a queen size bed looked like a full size with a pullout couch. The pullout couch bed looked bigger than the actual bed! The pullout bed is placed by the front door so that mean that for safety reasons, my children would have to sleep in the bed and I would have to sleep on the pullout couch. The comforter on the "queen size" bed had a small blood stain on it along with the linen for the pullout coach bed. The bathroom door was chipped and did not close all the way without having to push up against the door. On the back of the bathroom door and the wall was yellow streaks of dried up liquid! It was the nastiest feeling room!

Staff was ok upon checking in, helpful in looking for a cart to bring our stuff in. The room was just fine for sleeping, but they could have had more comfortable pillows, they were so thin and flimsy. There was a kitchen place but you have to ask the front desk for anything you need: plates, utensils, etc. No coffeemaker or cups. Breakfast was on the go: coffee, tea, etc that was it.

My stay was perfect. Just needed a little time alone for my birthday. Just what I needed. They even gave me a charger to use while I stayed, as I forgot mines at home.
