Sleep Inn Near Ft Jackson

Very nice staff but outdated room. Stains on ceilings, broken tile in bathroom with a door you couldn't easily slide to close, rusted bathroom sink, and unpleasant smell in entrance and hallways.

The smell as soon as you enter the inside lets you know what you’re walking into. Rooms old and outdated. They smell bad as well. Water is cold in shower and I got bit by bedbugs

This was not our first experience at a Sleep Inn. It was a fair value for the money. The staff was helpful when asked, but not bubbly or exuberant. The room we stayed in was clean, as were the linens, with no mustiness or lingering odors. The breakfast bar was adequate, but there was no fresh fruit or other refinements. The bed, however, was exceedingly hard to the point that my wife and I woke stiff, with sore shoulders.

Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. Our room was never cleaned during our entire 4-day stay. We were 2 adults and 2 children, and we had to use the same towels for all four days. They never replenished our toilet paper or emptied the trash cans. The AC in our room was not working properly. It was leaking, and the temperature was uncomfortable—some days it was very cold, while other days it was extremely hot. Another issue was that there was almost never anyone at the front desk/front office, which made it difficult to get help when we needed it. The breakfast was also very disappointing. The selection was extremely limited. They only provided one sausage, and the eggs did not taste like real eggs. We chose this hotel because we were traveling for an important family event, and unfortunately, the stay added unnecessary stress to an already busy trip. I understand that hotels can have issues, but basic things like clean towels, toilet paper, trash removal, working AC, and accessible staff should be provided. I would not stay here again or recommend this hotel, especially for a family staying several days.

When I checked in the staff was nice The room smelled like pee and there was bed bugs took the worker to the room and showed him and he said I don’t know why we clean all the rooms I left a clear cup over the bed bug to show him he told me to leave it there so the workers will see it when they come in the room to clean I expressed how bad it was and he did not seam to care at all

Front desk was rude. I had to wipe hairs out of bed. It’s a non smoking unit but it smelled like grandmas and smoke. It did the job thought.

The lady at the desk is rude. The hotel when you walk in smells like mildew the whole second floor smells like mildew and the room I was in smelt bad. I went to the front desk to tell the lady she gave me a spray bottle with cleaning liquid in it told me to spray. The next morning I was in the shower the guy comes and knocks on the door talking about someone complaining about smoke and he asked if he could come in and inspect for cigarette smoke. I told him I don’t smoke and it was an incense to make the room smell better mind you I’m in a towel because I was in the shower he still was trying to come in the room after I told him let me finish showering and get clothes on he stood with his foot in the door and I told him he is not getting in the room until after I had clothes on. After I put clothes on I went to the front desk he came up and took pictures of the incense and say you can’t burn this this is a smoke free building I explained to him I know it’s a SMOKE free building from cigarettes and vapes because that’s what’s all over your building but it doesn’t say anything about burning incense or candles. Your hotel smells like mildew and that lady gave me a spray to mask the smell instead of moving my room. After going back and forth they switched my room and the lady in the back saying it’s common sense not to burn an incense if it says no smoking!!! No common sense is not renting a room that clearly has water damage and smells like mildew.

The refrigerator definitely worked because my food was frozen when I took it out of the fridge. The bed sheet had a big stain that looked like ink on it. The chair that was at the desk was a safety hazard. When I sat in the chair and placed my back against the back of it, it went all the way back. Some updating needs to be done.

It straight smelled like sewer the whole time!

Beds were comfortable, decent for the price, friendly staff. We left something in the room and they called us. That’s going above the usual service.

Strong pdor when enter and in hotel. Smells like dogs. 2 pitbuls were seen in elevator despite no animals except service.

Housekeeping needs to clean all bathroom accessories

This hotel is very old and ran down.. the staff was polite. As soon as you enter the hotel room it has a bad smell and it travels through the enter building. It’s an older building

The staff was nice overall it looks like they’re doing some of reconstruction of the building. It seem to be an older facility. No one cleaned my room the first night, but that’s not a real big deal but the rooms could use some dusting a little more detail cleaning, and the building had a smell to it Overall for the price was comparable to the rooms since I was on a budget..

The place needs a lot of work. But as you walk in they are fixing the front. Which tells me that they are trying to make some up grades. That is good because the carpet was very stained and all of the wood in the room is chipped and scratched, water pressure was very low, the toilet was very loud (the whole porcelainlid lifts and falls back down when flushed), and toilet seat was broken. Cleanliness was very disappointing. The blankets were stained. The towels were dingy. The shower curtain was moldy. And they didn't clean our room or take out the trash in the 4 days that we stayed there. Over all very unsatisfied with the entire experience.
