Springhill Suites by Marriott Columbia near Fort Jackson

The room was super clean. Staff was super nice.

The location was great. Very quiet. I got there around 2:15 and I figured rooms were not going to be available but I tried. My kids and I went to eat and came back around 330 and the room was not available still. They were pleasant about it and apologized. It was a game that weekend so it was understandable. There was not any waffles or pancakes. I don't know if it was because it was a weekday and it is only available on the weekends but that had never happened to me before. It was very basic and not too many options.

Hotel was nice and new. Breakfast was very bland. I"ve much better.the area around hotel is run down. No good places to eat. Just some crappy fast food.

Large rooms We only got one room key because staff said they didn’t have enough.

We were very pleased with our room The only complaint we have is that this particular hotel did not have a Bellman luggage cart. They have airport luggage carts and they are not suited for hotel guests. If you are coming in to town for a wedding, funeral or special event you need a luggage cart with an appropriate garment bag hook and something bigger than an airport luggage rack. Please correct this. Only complaint we had but it really made entering and exiting the hotel difficult.

Best value stay I've had in 20 years. The room was spacious & clean, just perfect. The entire facility was well run and maintained. Breakfast had twice the selection of other hotels and tasted wonderful. If you're looking for a hotel in Columbia, choose this one.

The customer service was top tier and the cleanliness was excellent!

Staff was great, property was clean and they did a great job keeping breakfast moving with a very busy crowd.
