Cambria Hotel Columbus - Polaris

The second elevator didn’t work. It wasn’t too much of a problem because it wasn’t busy at the times we were using it. One light in the room wouldn’t stay on. One light was missing a bulb. Some fixtures in the bathroom were rusty and there didn’t seem to be any air movement out of the bathroom vent. The pullout bed was possibly bloodstained? Definitely something.

We had no shower curtain. No a/c in all main lobby areas, no kitchen, no bartender. Nothing. Location is great. The place will never seem family again.

Location Not as clean as before... only one elevator worked? Over whelming smell of cologne in lobby. Outside sliding door... did it work?

No AC in community areas, pool/spa was broken and disgusting. Elevator only worked half the time, our keys kept shutting down, couldn’t get fresh towels and we were there for 4 days. Garbages never got emptied and never replaced dirty cups in room… halls smelt like Marijuana and HOT. Just an overall bad experience.

Nice enough staff. However we couldn’t get maintenance repairs done on rooms or get our toilet paper restocked. So much potential but feels like someone invested money to buy it and is now cutting every imagineable corner.

The hot tub was not cleaned

The room was nice and clean! Having a washer and dryer in the facility was excellent! The staff was very nice!! But the pool was closed other then that I will stay here again on my next trip!!

They seemed really short staffed. I had to go to the front desk at least 3 different times because the bathroom didn't have enough washcloths or a blanket that didn't have spots on it. So I waited about a hour and went back to the front desk, thinking maybe they needed to wash some but he still said they had none gave me more hand towels and then found 1 more wash cloth. Luckily I do bring my own, so we had just enough. But was a bad smell upon entering the facility and aslo not well lit inside. Didn't look like this on Expedia.

We specifically searched for a hotel with a pool and hot tub. The hot tub that is very clearly in multiple pictures was full of concrete. The pool didn't have a working filter. The water was murky and had a large pile of long human hair floating in it. The room itself was nice, but not super clean. There was hair in the shower before we even got into it. Definitely not a place we will ever consider again.

There was a major stain on our comforter( blood ) . We put in in the hall for them to grab . They said they would bring a new one , nothing. I had to ask 3 times until someone finally grabbed one for me to carry up myself . The pool was so cloudy we could not see our feet on the steps. I did jump in but did not feel safe it either had too much chemicals or probably just needed cleaned real bad . They had what could have been a nice outside area but the ashtray was knocked over 100s of cigarette butts on the ground . The staff just seam to not care . I come to the area a lot for business and pleasure trust me there are lots of hotels in the area don’t stay here

No air conditioning in the lobby. One elevator out of service. No streaming services. No charging stations.

The location was good and the bed was very comfortable. Our room was not clean! The sheets and towels were clean but the floor had not been vacuumed, the edges of the carpet were very dusty, the table tops and shelves were dusty and the shower grout had mildew. No one was ever at the front desk or working in the lobby area.

The a/c was not working in our room and we didn't realize until we woke in the morning at the room was still 83 degrees. It was set on cool at 66 degrees with no change. We had to checkn in late (midnight). There was no chance to complain due to The access panel in the shower was hanging down and the bath faucet was loose. We booked for 4 people and were only given 2 shower towels. When I called the front desk, it just rang. I stopped down to the desk and the attendant was polite and went and got me a towel right away. The room was clean and spacious.

Good location, safe, quiet and comfortable. The WiFi was not working when in room & cell service was poor but when we walked into the hall/elevators, the WiFi worked.

The location is great. The room was not clean. The location Jacuzzi was out.

The room was spacious, beds were comfortable and check in was easy. We were in Columbus for ankle surgery. We stayed the night before my surgery and I booked an "accessible" room. It was on the 2nd floor, which was okay, given that I was being pushed in a wheelchair. The room itself was easily spacious enough to be pushed around. The big problems that I saw, as far as being accessible, were in the bathroom. The floor plate going into the bathroom was too high to easily move a wheelchair across. I had to be pulled in. The shower was not a walk-in. It was in a traditional bathtub. The hotel provided a double shower bench that could be placed in the tub. However, it would have taken up most or all of the tub, causing difficulty for moving around. Being unable to put any weight on my ankle, I would not have safely been able to shower.
