Cambria Hotel Columbus - Polaris

Definitely not one I’d choose to go to again.

Stayed 3 nights. Morning of my first night, observed 4 cars that were broken into. The glass for 2 was not swept up at time of check out, creating safety hazard for people and vehicles, not to mention the image it portrays. Airconditioning non-functioning in the lobby and common areas and if reading other reviews, has been out for a couple of months. Not good for an August stay. Hotel kept running out of towels. Do not recommend.

The rooms were not very clean. There were gnats in my room and the sink was stopped up

Unfortunately the only way they clean your room is if you call. They don't come out and change the trash they don't replace the towels. And when I finally did talk to the front desk that's when they told me they don't clean the rooms unless you request it so I requested a room clean and they still did not come very poor customer service

The bar was never open. Not sure if the restaurant was as it always looked like a ghost town. We did gather in the dining and bar area to chat, play games and enjoy beverages we had brought ourselves so we did utilize the space. And also the outdoor seating area. Kids never used the pool. It was small and looked a little cloudy. Hot tub was non existent. I think they may have been fixing or removing?? Room was nice. The pull out bed mattress could have used some upkeep. There was debris that was a bit off putting. A friend staying in another room found a hypodermic needle with contents under their pull out bed which is extremely alarming! Bedding for the pull out was in the closet . Blanket was very thin and did not include a pillow. Easily remedied by giving up one of the four on the bed. AC in the room worked great but extremely noisy and becoming even louder at times. But it was cold so thats all that mattered. Shower and bathroom were nice with a big glass walk in shower with great water pressure. Overall it served its purpose but should have been a less expensive stay for what was actually offered vs what was advertised.

This has to be the most disappointing hotel I’ve stayed at in a long time - the property has deferred maintenance everywhere you look. Huge potholes greet you in the parking lot, which is more than I can say for the front desk attendant - they’re rarely present and when I checked in it seemed to be an unwelcomed chore for her. The lobby and common areas (hallways, elevators, lobby) are all 85 degrees with no AC. The hot tub was paved over, evidently because they couldn’t keep up on the maintenance. The rooms were so-so, the beds were in desperate need of replacement. The HVAC unit sounded like a small engine, so if you like white noise when you sleep I guess you’re in luck. There are many, many better options in the Polaris area, stay away from this one.

Hotel staff was great and a really nice hotel! We will stay here again.

This is one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed at. I'm happy that there was a pool and the staff was extremely knowledgeable and professional.

The second elevator didn’t work. It wasn’t too much of a problem because it wasn’t busy at the times we were using it. One light in the room wouldn’t stay on. One light was missing a bulb. Some fixtures in the bathroom were rusty and there didn’t seem to be any air movement out of the bathroom vent. The pullout bed was possibly bloodstained? Definitely something.

We had no shower curtain. No a/c in all main lobby areas, no kitchen, no bartender. Nothing. Location is great. The place will never seem family again.

No AC in community areas, pool/spa was broken and disgusting. Elevator only worked half the time, our keys kept shutting down, couldn’t get fresh towels and we were there for 4 days. Garbages never got emptied and never replaced dirty cups in room… halls smelt like Marijuana and HOT. Just an overall bad experience.

Nice enough staff. However we couldn’t get maintenance repairs done on rooms or get our toilet paper restocked. So much potential but feels like someone invested money to buy it and is now cutting every imagineable corner.

The room was nice and clean! Having a washer and dryer in the facility was excellent! The staff was very nice!! But the pool was closed other then that I will stay here again on my next trip!!

They seemed really short staffed. I had to go to the front desk at least 3 different times because the bathroom didn't have enough washcloths or a blanket that didn't have spots on it. So I waited about a hour and went back to the front desk, thinking maybe they needed to wash some but he still said they had none gave me more hand towels and then found 1 more wash cloth. Luckily I do bring my own, so we had just enough. But was a bad smell upon entering the facility and aslo not well lit inside. Didn't look like this on Expedia.

We specifically searched for a hotel with a pool and hot tub. The hot tub that is very clearly in multiple pictures was full of concrete. The pool didn't have a working filter. The water was murky and had a large pile of long human hair floating in it. The room itself was nice, but not super clean. There was hair in the shower before we even got into it. Definitely not a place we will ever consider again.

There was a major stain on our comforter( blood ) . We put in in the hall for them to grab . They said they would bring a new one , nothing. I had to ask 3 times until someone finally grabbed one for me to carry up myself . The pool was so cloudy we could not see our feet on the steps. I did jump in but did not feel safe it either had too much chemicals or probably just needed cleaned real bad . They had what could have been a nice outside area but the ashtray was knocked over 100s of cigarette butts on the ground . The staff just seam to not care . I come to the area a lot for business and pleasure trust me there are lots of hotels in the area don’t stay here

Very poor

No air conditioning in the lobby. One elevator out of service. No streaming services. No charging stations.
