Americas Best Value Inn Pittsburgh Airport

Worked well since we only needed to spend the night to catch our early plane—you get what you pay for. Rooms are small, very hot (had to plug the AC in and it just blows into the side of the bed), and need updating. Children ran down the halls all night and it reeked of weed.

It took almost 15 mins before anyone returned to the front desk. I rang the bell several time no one came. I called on the phone no one answered. Getting in is alittle hard for wheelchairs or walkers. I had to park a distance from the lobby with my rolator. The good part of the stay was, the room had a microwave and refrigerator. Room was clean, bed was high from the floor.

The room was OK and the location was very convenient.

The access

I could not breathe in the room and they wouldn't give me a new room so I had to leave in the middle of the night.

Nice hotel! You get what you’re paying for. Staff was pretty nice and helpful.

I got there at 22:00 and they told me that they actually gave away my reservation, and that they could only give me a smoking room. Eventually after going back and forth, I realized the person was lying to me, and actually did have a nonsmoking room. So she finally gave it to me. The room was dirty, the sheets were dirty, the bathroom was dirty, and there was a big sticky spot in the middle of the floor. I would never recommend the place to anyone, since I had a terrible experience and the staff was rude.

Just crap

We stayed here for the airport shuttle and to be able to leave our car there. The staff was helpful and friendly. The shuttle was easy to use and there were no problems.

I had called the week prior to our stay to make sure it was okay to check in earlier than 3PM as we came from out of town for a concert and needed to be settled prior. The woman I had talked to on the phone was very accommodating and said we could come early. When we got there the day of our reservation, we had barley gotten out of the car when a man asked if we were there to check in, I said yes and immediately he said check in is at 3pm come back then. I told him I called earlier to confirm an early check in time, he told me they were very busy the night before and were still cleaning rooms. He was very rude but finally took us into the lobby and checked us in early as I had asked for. The room was clean and tidy, air conditioner didn’t work the best, and pillows were very flat. Over all 4/10, could have been much better.

shuttle was very good

I was double charged at first but manager fixed it as soon as he came in the next morning, without me asking. We didnt stay long in room as we were there for an event. Definitely would stay again.

Poor quality

It took forever to check in the nightly check in…. I was tired and the employee was on the phone and didn’t communicate anything. Was supposed to get a downstairs room but she just handed me a key. It was one person at a time and it was a long line! I was tired and just took the second floor room!

Our room was clean. It looks like they need some renovation.

Absolutely hated this hotel, probably the worst I've ever stayed in (and I've been in some dumps). Disgustingly filthy with brown stains all over the sheets and towels, slime in the sink, flies, a dirty feet odor. Super hot with no airflow and an AC unit that seemed moldy. I regret wasting my Expedia rewards points on this room.

In the room, under the chair was dirty clothing left behind by someone else. No coffee pot in room. Facility is nice, the room was otherwise nice, staff were super friendly.
