Courtyard by Marriott Pittsburgh Airport

We arrived around 1am after flying in from Phoenix. When we walked into our room, it was not a king, but worse, the beds were stripped, garbage cans full, not clean. They had no other rooms. They did comp our stay and put us in a hotel nearby, but that hotel was even worse. The front desk was an absolute disaster, hallway ceilings collapsed from water damage, old, dirty, stained bed spreads. Again, we were compensated which was fair, but just not a great experience. The night clerk did an excellent job resolving an issue that was likely not caused by him. The managerial staff in the morning was very apologetic and accommodating.

Nice, clean hotel close to the college and the airport. The lobby and fitness area was nice. The bed was comfortable and the shower was great!

The bed was so soft that while I weight just over 200 pounds, I sank so much that by morning my back was a mess. Anybody that would like to do anywork in their hotel room should bring at least 2 extension cords. Plus a plywood board to place under the mattress. It was a very disappointing stay.

The hotel was great. But if you are utilizing the shuttle to and from the airport then I would reconsider your hotel choice. Going to the airport in the hotels van was fine but upon our return, we were informed that the hotel subcontracts another company due to being short staffed. We ended up waiting at least 30 minutes to be picked up, then had to drop other passengers off in different locations. We didn't get to our car for about an hour. The van reminded me of 3rd world country transportation and was a bit of a death trap. I would definitely stay at the hotel again but if I were in need of a shuttle then I would totally look else ware.

I arrived at 11pm at night after flying for 5 hours and picking up a rental car. The front desk agent said they got a new system that he wasn't trained on and he was the only agent there. It took him 1 hour to figure it out after contacting his GM. I was so frustrated and tired and hungry it was a really horrible experience. I hope the hotel sees this and contact us me to compensate me for this issue. Because if you change your systems there should 100% be full training before that person is allowed to be the only person in site.

Blood stain on the mattress, slept on top of sheet, kind of cheap to make your customers pay for parking, no coffee? Come on now times can’t be that tough that you can’t offer a repeat customer some coffee. Not all bad though…Hotel was clean, staff was friendly and really close to Robinson. C+
