Hyatt Place Ft. Lauderdale Airport & Cruise Port

The front desk guy was amazing and helpful. In the other hand the room are old and dirty, the bed sheet had stain on it, the old smell was terrible, the air conditioning is either on or off. The advantage is that it is kind of close to the airport everything, but I will go somewhere else next time.

Nice sized room for me and my husband. Breakfast was good.

Was able to check in about 1 hr early. Check in was busy. Staff processed guest quickly. Room was spacious and the layout was very nice. Room was quiet and clean. Walking distance to near by restaurants and stores like Ross, Marshall’s, BJ’s and many more. If you are driving, it is a short drive to the Dania Beach casino, and beaches. Convenient location to airport, and cruise port. Only spent one night, but would stay there again.

The room itself was not what I expected, and the view was also disappointing. One of my biggest concerns was the bathroom. Whenever I was in there, I could hear people upstairs flushing the toilet, and one evening I even noticed water running down the bathroom wall. That made the stay very uncomfortable. While the hotel is conveniently located near shopping areas, that wasn't the purpose of my trip. I was in Fort Lauderdale to visit my father, so the location didn't make up for the other issues. I've stayed at much better hotels in the area, including Embassy Suites, where I found the rooms more comfortable and the complimentary breakfast far superior. The breakfast at this hotel was very limited and not appealing. My eight-year-old granddaughter didn't even want to eat it, so I ended up buying cereal and milk for her each morning instead. Overall, this was not a pleasant experience. Based on the quality of the room, the bathroom issues, the breakfast, and the fact that only one elevator was working during my four-night stay, I would rate my stay 3 out of 10.

Thank you for a early check-in but the refrigerator was not cleaned out the rest of the room was cleaned. I called at 0630 am to ask to see if we could get early check in. I was told no because they were full booked because of the holiday weekend. Once arrived at hotel found out that it was a waiting list that the person who answered at 6:30am could of put me on. Yes we did get a room early by 1230. Pool looked nice and clean could go was on a time crunch. Breakfast was great cleaning in the dining area was great. The woman that assisted us on 7/3/2026 at 0930 was very helpful and she really went above and beyond.

Airport pickup Free breakfast Suggestion - Maybe include a bit more vegan items. Only had 1 or 2 options. Even all the breads had eggs (This suggestion is mostly for vegan diets). Or maybe can ask preference while booking or at some point

Very nice stay. I was able to check in early. Breakfast was pretty good.

They charge fee for a parking, the brekfast is so basic no many options, the bathrrom in the first floor was terrible no dust not clean.

We only got to stay one night but the staff was really helpful with helping us figure out departure times for a cruise in Miami. The room was very clean and spacious and was very close to food and shopping. I would definitely stay there again.

We called for the free shuttle from the airport to the hotel at 2:30 and they said they were coming. The shuttle drove off and didn’t even bother stopping so I recalled them and it eventually took 25 mins for the shuttle to come. Now for the cruise shuttle, it was very organized and was fairly priced so no issues there. When we got dropped off, we were told that our room wasn’t ready and it was already 3:00 pm. So I asked when the room would be ready, got no response and said you’ll get an email. After a long day of travel, it would be nice to get to relax in the room. Nope! Instead, they let us store our luggage in their conference room. We didn’t get our room till around just before 5:00 pm. The room was nice however, there wasn’t enough towels and so I had to go to the front desk and funny enough, other guests were asking for towels as well. Took us almost 10 mins to get towels which is ridiculous. The washroom is super cramped and the shower wasn’t super clean either. The amenities were super minimal. The gym was super tiny with little to no equipment. The pool was also tiny. I think considering most of the hotels in the area are the same price, I’d choose a different hotel next time.
