Hawaiian Inn Beach Resort

The overall stay was good, the staff, bartenders and gift shop were amazing especially Selena from the dront desk. They all were very friendly and helpful. The room was mostly clean with some exceptions it had a strong musty smell, the pillows were moldy and the sheets look like they had been used before. Our stay was pleasant and fun with some needed sanitary room adjustments.

I loved the view and had my son check the room in. It was very convenient that 18 year olds can check in.

The pillows in our room had mold on them from the humidity, The ocean view was beautiful, and the room was larger than most rooms.

The room smelled like mold, it wasn’t a comfortable room, it was small…we booked a full kitchen room but didn’t get anything close to that, the water coming out of the sink barely worked, the bathroom was tiny, the air conditioner barely worked, we had to have 3 fans going on in the room at all times & still that didn’t help, we were there for 10 days & not once did we get our room cleaned, even after me asking twice. We were very disappointed, we won’t be staying here again…go down to The Max for about the same price you get treated very well & you have a ton of amenities

Staff needs to do better at lying because they didn't have a clue how to address the situation and fix it.

For an older hotel I really enjoy the “vibe” of the pool and ocean! My favorite hotel when I come to Daytona Beach! Beautiful view!

We checked in at 4 and check out 11pm on the same day we showed up. 408 was so bad that we did not feel comfortable with our children staying there. We decided to move our family down to the days inn. The hotel room not only had mold all over the room, but my husband almost slipped and fell because the air conditioner was leaking onto the ground infront of the stove. Everything in the hotel was moist and smelled moldy. The bottom of the door in the bathroom was warped and bubbled up due to moisture. The one bed was broken so when you sat down you sunk in. The couch smelled and had scorch marks on it like someone accidentally lit it on fire with a cigarette. When we walked into the room the comforters were laying on the ground and the sheets were placed on the beds 20 min after we got into the room with the comforter not being changed at all… just picked up off the dirty floor and placed on the bed. We had 3 different groups of people staying at this hotel and 2 of the 3 groups all checked out of their rooms in less than 24 hrs. The pool is warm and gross… and the hot tub was out of service. The night time check in girl was rude and kept telling us sorry nothing I can do about it over and over until we called Expedia and then she offered to refund us our money for the remainder of the days. The manager refunded us the money the next morning for the night we did not stay but it took us complaining 5 times and other people we didn’t know were constantly at the desk complaining.

Before I ever got there they called me to say the suite I booked wasn’t available and said we would have to stay in 2 separate rooms for a night. 1 room didn’t have air. Couldn’t get towels for hours. Smelled marijuana continuously. Toilet wouldn’t flush. Water went off in entire building. Smelled of urine at elevator. Pool was dirty. Needs some renovations. Staff were friendly just not much help. There was security which was a good thing. Ample parking. Probably won’t stay there again but you get what you pay for!

First Expedia said there was availabilities to check in the 14th through 17 of July. got to the property and said that there was no availability for the 17th, would have to check out on the 16th and had to make alternate plans to find a motel for this 16th and we only had three towels . Towels were unavailable to get fresh one, towels were very small and no coffee available at the hotel at all. not in the rooms, not at front desk , only to purchase tiny packets. Water was shut off due to a leak,Then the air was shut off due to maintenance room was extremely warm . Staff was absolutely horrible. She gave me my room key and didn’t tell me anything about the beach access code. She was rude obviously and didn’t want to be there at all. she was not willing to help on any answers of checking in. One elevator was broken, and when you got to the 3rd floor on one of the 2 elevators, somebody had urinated on the trash can right in front of the opening of the elevator door. When I told her about the situation, she did not care and proceeded to never tell anybody, therefore it never got cleaned up.

I booked with this host for July 10-12th 2026 and was left without a room to stay in for my family. The host never responded to me and I wasn’t able to check in. Upon arriving to the hotel, the hotel staff informed me that this is typical behavior for this host due to them not providing their direct contact information but instead providing the hotels number as their contact number. Since the room is privately owned the hotel staff are unable to help with the process. I do not advise anyone to book this room.

Great place from checking in to checking out. Easy access to the beach. Close to restaurants and shopping

Beach access was great. The room was not very clean and there was broken glass on the floor of the bedroom. Luckily found before my littles stepped on it. The room was definitely in need of paint and fixing old worn walls and flooring. No bugs and it was just okay. No towels in the pool area so bring your own. I would not repeat stay unfortunately.

The hotel is dated, but the pool area was very big,clean and nice. We had a balcony room with ocean view.😍🌴☀️

The balcony was nice. Hotel is a dump. Bathrooms have mold accumulating. The person serving me behind the tiki bar was not only intoxicated but I was told she was not even an employee of the Inn. This place is bad on so many levels I contacted the BBB.

The rooms was beyond nest dirty the hallway to the room smelled like someone toke a dump and dog or human hair was everywhere and mold growing on the ac vents and on the back of the chairs it just had a horrible smell and didn't stay I couldn't stay there

The beach access Let’s see, the second day we was there they cut the water off in the hotel for an emergency for like two hours which was a total inconvenience then half of the plug ins didn’t work , on top of not having cleaning services they didn’t even make sure we had clean towels .
