The bathroom is excellent. The cloth closet seems little small! The location is great. And also they provide once a day one way ride within 1.5 mile radius which can be useful! Road noise can be bothering! Also there was a fire alarm that went off today. All in a great stay ! 4+

Location of hotel was near wonderful parts of Denver. Close to Larimer St, Coors Field, walking distance. The room was a petite queen suite and was clean beautiful and relaxing. The front desk was helpful on suggestions.

Valet and bellhop was super helpful and friendly. Staff was great. Nice hotel in a good location.

Staff was amazing. TV is a bit old school and lighting is horrible. Place was super clean, quiet and easy to get around. My room was clean. For being right infront of the elevators it was nice and quiet.

"library" feel to sit & relax. The blackout curtains were best ever & bed, linens were comfy= I slept late everyday! (Only negative was the bathroom was a tight squeeze to get to the toilet behind the door- so check it before getting unpacked because if you're a larger person= no way to fit/ shimmy betw door & sink= so be sure to ask if all bathrooms are like that. It was fine for me/small female but no way a person over 180 lbs. could do it comfortably.) The location is great- next to performing arts, couple blocks to convention center, within a block to eat & drink, & .5 mile to Union Station/ Coors Field. Thank you-especially Isabelle, all the doormen/driver, & the gal & guy who worked the bfast bar! :) I loved my stay at Hotel Teatro & can't wait to come back!

Great experience overall. Room faced the sun, so the AC struggled in the morning and midday. Other than that great room, staff, and amenities.

The staff were incredibly helpful and kind

We stayed here over Father’s Day weekend, and had reserved a room well in advance. This was a Mother’s Day getaway for my mom. They put us in a room where the AC was broken. When we arrived the room was at 81 degrees, but at night reached 86. We called down to see if another room was available, only to be told they were at full capacity. Whoever was at the front desk while not impolite, seemed annoyed by our call rather than helpful. They also acknowledged that people previously had complained about the AC, yet they still booked the room. We asked for a fan, which they did provide, but it just circulated hot air around the room. We then asked for a refund, and they offered 20% off a room rate of almost $500 per night. We have stayed in many hotels in downtown Denver for weekend getaways and this was by far the worst. The room was small, and the staff while pleasant, did not seemed very concerned at all. We were able to get a refund, but only after leaving a message for the hotel manager. Honestly try the Four Seasons, Union Station, The Oxford, all which have far superior rooms and service. The location of this hotel is great for the theater, and we did enjoy the restaurant on site, but the weekend was just miserable to be honest - we have had better rest and service at the La Quinta off Colorado Boulevard and that’s saying something!

So disappointing. We were grateful to have checked in an hour early but unfortunately that’s where the positive experience ended. Our room was so hot, thermostat read 80 degrees. When I called the front desk we expected the same friendly, welcoming character that we were greeted with. Instead the person on the other end of the phone was clearly annoyed with my simple question on how to get it a little cooler in there. They sent a maintenance guy out who looked at the thermostat then asked if the windows were closed and said “yea that’s weird”. He offered to bring a portable a/c unit. My husband asked if there was a cooler room available and he said he would ask. The portable a/c was the kind that just blew air and used water to cool. It was useless and sprayed water on the floor. I called the front desk a few times after that only to be put on an immediate hold once for a total of 12min. No answer. No follow up to check on us. We returned from our evening out around midnight assuming a cooler room was waiting for us; wrong. Thought a shower would help. Shower pooled instantly. Maybe something to do with the wad of hair we found covering the drain. Didn’t bother calling about it as no one seemed to care anyway. We attempted to get some sleep anyway but the heat and stillness of the room made it impossible to relax. With no where to go at 2am we decided to pack up our things and head to the airport five hours early for our morning flight. Don’t waste your money.

Ummmm holy cuteness. We travel a lot and this is my far the best hotel we’ve stayed at. The staff was so kind and helpful. Very pleasant to talk with. The hotel is old, and has so much charm and character. We booked a very last minute date night in the city and everything was within walking distance. BOOK IT 💕

Pros - good location for walking to Union Station and Coors Field - valet was convenient - staff was friendly - room was ready an hour before check in - interior was beautiful and historic Cons - room had a view of a parking garage - ac did not cool down the room even after having it fixed by maintenance it stayed at 75 - although valet was convenient it was pricey at an extra $67 a night
-
The hotel was hot everyday. Asked for a fan to be brought up and never was. We also asked for room service to clean our room and provided new towels and all they did was bring towels and place them on the bed. Will never stay here again
-
Check in was a little slow because it seems everyone decided to check in at the same time and there was only one receptionist. But the complimentary prosecco made up for it. Overall, a neat hotel and the balcony was cool.
-
Also, the air conditioner never cooled below 75 in the room and was uncomfortable when sleeping.
-
Dog friendly without the pet fee! Lobby area and restaurant warm.
