It was a positive experience stay at the Curtis Hotel. The staff were friendly and the hotel was clean and comfortable. I love that they had parking with no hassle.

Light switch at door was not functional. Mini fridge froze snacks, frozen coffee creamers exploded. Half the coffee creamers were dried and empty. Window covering was not room darkening. Air conditioner worked, but wheezed and roared deafeningly. No closet or accessible storage. Sagging bed. No grab bars in shower. Housekeeping did not consistently remove trash or make bed. Computer in lobby nonfunctional. Room next door first had a screaming child, and then a continuously yapping dog —that could be heard clawing at the door of its room trying to get out. Poor dog, I could sympathize with it.

We had a great time. Thank you!

Staff was helpful & friendly

AC unit was LOUD, bathroom sink barely had cold water so you had to brush your teeth with hot hot water, shower made a squeaking sound. The hotel was in a great location and was super cool though!

The front desk staff was great!

Late booking via expedia They couldn’t find it and took two hours of our time to figure it out terrible and should not be on Expedia ever for this.

They charge 1/3 the of the hotel room price for parking each day Might well just raise the hotel price to include it instead of the bs of finding out when you get there. But no, if people knew they might book somewhere else. This way they can charge you a hotel price and market that and then say surprise! No trash cans inside the actual hotel room which is just unsanitary. What am I supposed to do with my tea bag after I make a cup of tea? Just put it on the counter or go searching for one outside the room while holding a leaking bag of herbs? Bob forbid I was on my period while staying at this place. No microwave in the room either which isn't the end of the world but was inconvenient. I thought i was booking a nice hotel and ended up with a place cleaner than a motel but with far less to offer. Its biggest flex is each floor has a different theme vomited up from the 70s and 80s and its location is prime for any business in down town. I truly feel bad for the cleaning staff as even normal hotels have cleaning horror stories but one where there is no option to clean after yourself? Gross. Again, the workers were delightful. I wont be booking with the Curtis again because of who they are as a business, not the people forced to work under those rules.

It was a great location downtown.

Conveniently located. Very kind and cheerful staff in both the restaurant and st reception. Nursery school decor was rather amusing. Good breakfast.

Such a cute hotel!! The decor is amazing and Nick at the front desk was so personable, welcoming and friendly!! We enjoyed chatting with him and his customer service was top notch! The hotel is walking distance to some great restaurants as well. We will definitely be back!

Location was perfect for walking and exploring downtown. Staff was helpful and friendly.

I’ve never had anyone go so above and beyond. I felt as comfortable as if I were are home ! Will return !

Our bathroom shower did not spray out water very well but everything else was good.
-
It felt like an old fashioned Hilton hotel with noisy rattling air conditioner, and no amenities in the bathroom that are routinely provided - just soap for washing hands, and shampoo/conditioner. There was a super "hipster" design in the lobby that was cute, but felt like a cover-up for the fact that this is an older and financially troubled hotel.

I was sad that there is no complimentary breakfast. However, the do have a restaurant and bar on site. The hotels location is centrally located for a wonderful experience of downtown Denver. Everything from Performing arts center, sixteenth street mall, tons of different restaurants, coffee shops, ect. The rooms were clean, and the cleaning staff made sure beds were made, towels were replenished, toilet paper stocked. We never had to wait for the elevators. We were on the 13th floor that was uniquely themed. We never had any noise issues on our floor. The beds and pillows were the run of the mill, so no perks on having a luxury mattress. Overall, our stay was wonderful and we had in -out privileges for the parking garage. I recommend getting the parking garage because parking downtown is almost impossible. We walked everywhere unless we were leaving the downtown area.

The staff was amazing the property was ok

As far as Boutique Hotels go it was very nice, my only complaint was the ac/heat in room sounded like a car running once I turned it off it was very peaceful

I seriously loved staying here!! Could not say good enough things about the staff and novelty of it all :) We had some issues with our first room NO FAULT TO THE HOTEL AT ALL and were immediately moved. They apologized and gave us free amenities for the hassle! They did not have to do that but they even recognized us! They were kind to acknowledge our outings and weird quirks!
