Kimpton Monaco Hotel was a very nice place to stay in Denver! My wife said it was the prettiest room we had ever stayed in. I agree too! The hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The valet parking worked out well too. The men working the valet parking were so friendly and helpful too! We would highly recommend this hotel to others.

The Executive Suite (the biggest room they offer) was spacious with high ceilings. The bedroom was impressive! The AC wasn’t working right and the maintenance person came to look at it and closed the ticket without doing anything. I called down again and another guy showed up and offered to close the vent in the living area to cool down the bedroom. No thanks. Then somebody brought me two fans. Then I finally gave up and asked to be moved to another room after three nights of sweating and trying to sleep. The Monte Carlo suite was clean and also impressive. But still hot. Bottom line, don’t stay at this hotel in the summer. The staff was nice. But if I’m paying g $63 a night to park my vehicle I would like to have functioning AC. I will NOT be back to this hotel and would not recommend to a friend.

Great staff and hotel! Location was superb and great amenities. Rooms walls are a little thin, but it is a historic building and staff is very responsive on any noise. Recommend a stay here!

Nice area. The location was appropriate.
-
The sink had a water leak that molded everything under the sink and on the floors hotel was ok I’ve stayed in much cleaner and nicer

The building caught on fire at night and the smoke alarms didn’t go off. No one was comped for the rooms and they wouldn’t address if the smoke alarms were fixed or not. They should have refunded us or let us leave.

Good location with quiet rooms. The Colorado Music shuttle picks up here for Red Rocks concerts which was super convenient for us. Loved the morning cold brew with non-dairy options, but the mandatory $30 amenity fee feels too high unless you use the evening wine and whiskey perks. We didn't, but we ate breakfast on-site to at least get the $10 credit. Safe neighborhood, would stay there again.

The staff here was pleasant enough, especially the valet personnel. The property needs some renovations as the rooms are dated. Good location but I'd probably wouldn't stay here again.

Everything was great for a vacation stay. I really appreciated the staff and the amenities that was offered.
-
My room would take awhile to cool down though. Other than that, I loved it!

Was traveling with dogs and the no discounts for room service, and could not eat at the resturant

The Kimpton Hotel is absolutely beautiful! The staff were very attentive. I had an issue with my thermostat and someone was at my foot within 15 minutes. They took care of it and had no other issues throughout my stay. Only one complaint that my room was somewhat dark despite the 4 lamps in the room. The building is over 100 years old so maybe that's the reason for the dim lighting.

Elevator was broken our entire stay and the upgraded Executive Suite definitely needs some significant upgrades. We couldn’t use the outlets next to our bed due to them being too loose and unable to hold our chargers. Definitely not the stay we expected, unfortunately.

Good location. Clean hotel. Friendly service. Great place to stay.

Beautiful hotel located right in the middle of everything! Very helpful staff, nice complimentary wine and after dinner drinks in the lobby. If you are going to stay anywhere without spending a lot, go here!!!

We had a nice stay. Our only issues were the resort fee and parking. We weren’t expecting the resort fee since we booked with a third party. I called several times inquiring about the parking situation for my Sprinter van. I was told not to worry about it, and the valet’s would help me. When I got there, the valet had no idea where I could go to park. I asked the front desk and after a little bit of searching, I was on my own. I did find an outside lot about three blocks away. It was a little scary parking my $150k van outside in downtown Denver, but luckily everything worked out great.

We upgraded our room to the Executive Suite, and the room was terribly hot even though the thermostat read 60. The bed also wasn't comfortable especially given the room type.

I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. I travel to Denver every month this year and have been trying out different hotels and this one was BY FAR the best!! The staff went above and beyond and the room was immaculate. This is THE spot.
