Residence Inn by Marriott Denver City Center

Great place to stay! We were in town for a Rockies game and the stadium was only a 10 minute walk. Clean facilities and very helpful staff.

Everything was superb. Room was clean, staff was helpful, breakfast was great.

Great hotel

Room was very clean. Lobby has a really strongly perfumed scent - so much so that I preferred waiting outside for my fellow travelers. Sidewalk right outside the hotel was pretty gross and although it’s not the hotel’s responsibility, it’d be nice if they had cleaned it. Wish it had a coffee shop or cafe but we made due by visiting one in another nearby hotel. Overall, it’s a nice place to stay, but not exceptional.

Good: I requested early check-in via Marriott app and was put on a waitlist. The staff ended up granting us access 3 hours early. The breakfast was excellent—hot, plentiful, offered a variety of options. Bad: Parking costs $42/night plus taxes, yet the experience was deeply frustrating. The garage elevator was out of service, and while a sign directed guests to use the hotel elevators, there were zero directions on how to find them. Parking is handled through the Metropolis app via a QR code rather than billed to the room, which wasn't made clear at check-in. The app was difficult to navigate, and I was automatically charged a $9.99 fee for using it. We were trapped inside the garage because the exit gate wouldn't open, resulting in a warning ticket for "failure to pay." This is a major security risk—if there had been an emergency or a safety threat, we would have been stuck. I had to call an attendant who spoke broken English; they finally opened the gate and promised to refund the $9.99 app fee in a few days. The room had musty odor and never quite cooled down. The thermostat had a sign not to set it below 65 degrees, leaving the room uncomfortably warm throughout our stay. While breakfast was good, the high chair was covered in sticky residue and needed a wipe-down before we could use it.

Staff was very helpful.

Quiet, clean with a lovely breakfast. Quick walk from Union Station and less than 2 blocks to 16th street. We always try to book this location when we can.

Would stay again. Appreciated there was a parking garage that we could pay to use. Breakfast was good.

Great location Broken A/C. No available rooms to change to. Had to contact front desk 3 times in order to get a room change, but they weren’t able to accommodate us until the next day. They sent maintenance to my room and I couldn’t be in there for 2 hours which was extremely inconvenient and they didn’t even fix the issue. They gave us fans, but with a room sitting over 80 degrees, it didn’t do anything. The shower had black mold.

The location was excellent, the staff was friendly, enjoyed the breakfast selection, easy free ride on 16th street bus to union station to catch A line to airport, felt safe walking back from Coors Field at night after ballgame, target nearby that has grocery selections. Though the room was a little dated, and bed only so so, I found it satisfactory for our stay.There is no scheduled house cleaning for a 6 night stay without a 1 day advanced request, but I did find the staff nice and accommodating for anything you needed such as more towels or to pick up some trash, so for us it was fine they didnt come in,

Great location Expensive parking

The location, however, is unnerving when you are staying alone. I often travel alone and specifically to Denver, walk from Union Station. The walk from Union Station to this hotel is about 11 blocks. I passed approximately 40 homeless individuals in my time there, walking to and from Union Station... No fault of the hotel, but just a word on the locale.

The location was the only good thing about this property. The room was not cleaned properly and probably rushed my their cleaning crew. The buffet breakfast is the worst even for a Hilton or any hotel continental and the staff were indifferent at best.

The location was very convenient in Downtown Denver We were thrown off that we had to pay for parking per day. Parking should have been part of the room feeds

Housekeeping was sporadic, but otherwise, a very comfortable stay.

Even after speaking to someone at the front desk, housekeeping never came to my room There's no restaurant for lunch or dinner The hotel parking rate is higher than all the parking garages in the area Overall the room was comfortable and the hotel is close to the baseball stadium
