Even though she was really busy, she was plesent.

Room looked clean but the bathroom had a funky smell as if wet towels had been left in there for a few days and the mirror frame needed to be wiped off. It's those tiny details which need to be remembered. Staff was professional and courteous. Location was great. Beds were comfy.

The breakfast and happy hour are 10/10! We love booking at Embassy Suites for this alone! The property was very clean, valet, front desk and cleaning staff were all really kind and accommodating.

Room was comfortable and clean.

Great location, plenty of parking nearby in a large garage across the street, friendly staff (especially the morning breakfast manager gentleman), clean. The towel bar in room 709 bathroom is partially pulled from the wall. But the shower really needs work. There’s one of those half-door/wall deals that completely floods the bathroom floor. It’s really frustrating.

We had been on the road for a while and did not want to travel far from the hotel for food. The inside lounge offered a decent menu, and the ribeye was lovely. Initially, I was informed of a hold on my card for incidental charges, which would be removed. I was fine with that. We were placed in a room next to the staff service door, which was noisy and caused a lot of commotion for my dog. The room was not cleaned very well. My dog found food, among other things, under the bed and around the room. The room had a funky smell, like it had been smoked in, and they never changed the carpet. Upon checkout, my bill went from $145 at booking to $200, then to $310. I was told all persons are charged a pet fee. ??? When I called to ask about the fee before making a reservation, I was informed there would be a $70 or $75 hold for the dog, which would be refunded once they saw there was no damage, etc. Overall, I wasn't impressed with the hotel, amenities, cleanliness, or staff. They were short and rude. They did not care to ask how the stay was.

Excellent staff including receptionist staff and breakfast staff and housekeeping team. The hotel was full and everyone worked together to make my stay a pleasure. Being able to walk from hotel to Arboretum event was pleasant. Also being able to walk to downtown farmers market was fantastic. The hotel people made me feel like family. I definitely recommend this hotel!

The pool cleanliness and the lack of maintenance

The snacks for evening reception had a lot to be desired: trail mix, chips and salsa, and vegetables and dip. And the breakfast buffet in the morning was lukewarm at best, unless you ordered the made to order omelet. We arrived right at the start of breakfast and it had cooled down that quickly.
