Courtyard by Marriott Newark Elizabeth

I couldn not get there due to the stone and flooding

Ok

I emailed the property several days before my booked stay as I wanted to make use of the airport shuttle that was offered and was a major reason why I booked this hotel. I never received a response. I called the hotel when I arrived at Newark Airport and received the vaguest most unhelpful information and ended up using a taxi instead. Having some additional information on their hotel info page would have been appreciated.

There wasn’t anything g that I don’t like. The stopper in the tub got stuck and maintenance came and fixed it within 3 mins of the call. Always friendly and helpful staff.

Staff was nice and allowed us to check in early since there were available rooms. If there weren’t any, they were willing to allow us to check in luggage until check-in time. Microwaves are in the lobby only. Very close to the mall, 7 min walk. Expensive to Uber to NY, between $90-$120. You can take cheaper alternative transportation if you like. Shuttle to airport provided every 15 mins. Lots of pilots and flight attendants stayed at this location.

I had a two night stay there. The hotel was nice. The people were nice, rooms were clean. Loved the fact that they had Starbucks coffee had an OK choice of food at the bistro. I was very happy and satisfied with this hotel.

The Starbucks/restaurant on property was a plus. They opened late. The mall is in walking distance with several restaurants also in walking distance. The staff were friendly.

The room was very clean n nice. The bed was meh but it’s hot or miss anywhere. I def will stay here again. Great hotel n super super clean.

Very good

Good stay!

No breakfast.

Clean, close to the mall and was exactly what I needed for the trip.

I’m was make the reservation, dir 4 peoples, one room with big bed and sofa bed, but we coming the hotel, they don’t have available room for 4 people, literally the sofa bed he was for one, and we make improvising buying one inflatable mattress… I and my coworkers was situation really bad. Very good location specifically if heading to Cape LibertyPort. Convenient location, restaurants and mall in walking distance.

All in all a troubling and substandard experience ...

It was great

No safe in the room, tax on each item of food and laundry facility wasn't working. We had to use sister hotel next door. Also no microwave oven the room. We had go to ground to use the microwave oven
