Valley River Inn

We stayed for several days and overall what stood out was the staff. They were all great. The property is nice and generally well kept, with lovely balconies overlooking the river, and screen doors to leave open for the river breezes. We found our room full of pot smoke twice because other neighbors were more thoroughly enjoying their respective balconies. The earplugs bedside were helpful because the rooms' interior walls are thin. Levitating in shock from the fire alarm going off in the middle of the night was a bit of a downer. The room had a nice refrigerator and kettle for our few groceries and was enough to make a cup of oatmeal and tea in the mornings and keep a few things on hand. There was plenty of parking and the restaurant has nice riverside dining... the food was better than most of the surrounding chain restaurants - it's worth a steak or salmon entree by the river, drinks were good pours. It's tidy, it was cleaned and the cleaning staff did a good job in the room daily. I'd say the opportunity for improvement are the bed polyester blend sheets and pillows- not menopause friendly. Beds were otherwise comfy. Good value overall.

2) We had a very early flight from Eugene, and so retired early. Unfortunately, at 9:40 PM an alarm sounded throughout the building. The front desk did not answer our telephone query, nor was the person at the front desk knowledgeable about what had happened and what to do. 3) We joined several other guests in leaving the hotel very early (around 5 AM) to go to Eugene Airport. Unfortunately, breakfast service is only available from 7 AM, and nothing was available earlier. No yogurt, no fruit, no pastries, no coffee. Disappointing.

The staff is amazing. Tommy met me when I arrived to the front desk. I had two reservations (one for that night and another for an additional four nights). Tommy kindly arranged to connect the two reservations alleviating the need to change rooms. The room allows me to complete my work. Plus, the large screen door allows lots of air flow into the room. The grounds are immaculate. Lighting in the parking lot provides safety/security while not introducing excessive lights into the rooms. I liked everything about this property.

Nice property in general. No available pool or hot tub spa. They were “closed for the season “. My arthritis requires a good soak for a good nights rest. The pet great $75 was the highest of any place we’ve stayed. All fees l& surcharges should be disclosed in the reservation receipt.

Absolutely relaxing and comfortable hotel.

This is a beautiful hotel really love the sitting area as they have the restaurant the room was quite spacious water pressure was perfect. Perfect loved everything about this hotel will definitely come back again.

Large property, getting to elevator with lots of bags was not convenient in second building.

Great place. Especially loved the workout space. Had everything I needed for a great workout. Was pleased to see that they had Matrix equipment, which is what I use at home. Room was quiet, and enjoyed that there was even a balcony to sit outside in the trees.

This is the second time we've stayed there and it's a great place. Rooms are large and clean, but countertops

Beautiful decor. Recently remodeled. Close to Valley River Mall and multiple restaurants. Good restaurant with views of the river. No problems.

Overall the place is lovely with an amazing restaurant. However, our room was not cleaned/serviced at all after our second night. And we had a charge erroneously posted to our room by the restaurant.
