Wingate by Wyndham St. Louis/Fenton Route 66

Clean room , though the lamp on the desk was in disrepair, a broken switch, and did not work. The water in the shower appeared to have a drip but no one at the front desk at all this morning to report issues. Checkin was great. He had a great, warm greeting and good information. Breakfast room attendant was warm, friendly, hard working. Trash on the sidewalks. Cigarette butts along the way. Loud ac fan. Nothing too awful to keep us from returning. But a better eye to detail would have been a higher rating.

The room was okay and the service but the room had an unpleasant smell.

Room clean but bathroom sink would not drain. Tv volume didn’t work Called front desk phone line was cut Went to front desk Got new room. But new room leaking toilet and tv could not maintain pixelation Breakfast was delicious

Nice stay

However, it smelled like cigarette smoke in both rooms we had because we booked 2 for the night for our family. In our room, there was mold stain in the toilet. No remote to the TV, we had to ask for one, then had to program it. TV was glitching, the screen was messed up. We ended up just turning it off and going to sleep.

The staff at the front desk were very helpful and friendly. Checked in quickly which was nice. The maintenance man who had to change my TV out was also friendly.

Staff was friendly. It’s an older looking place and not the newest but it was safe, pool was clean, and the price was right.

There for three nights but had no evidence of a fresh towels or wash up supplies. Hair and soap dispensers were full of mostly failed closures. We found a black cotton athletic sock. I made sure it was back where I found it. The pool needs attention. It was too dirty to bring over the grand kids for a swim.

Rooms were nice and updated for an older property. Elevator was great, breakfast was good. Small breakfast area to sit down, but you can take it to the room. Rate was great.

This place is so dirty

While the room appeared to be clean, it had a bad odor that we couldn't get rid of. The toilet wouldn't flush and the staff did not have access to a plunger to fix it.

Not a good experience at all!!! Would not suggest it to anyone!

Pool was no good, only open for 3 hours a day and didn't look maintained.

They never clean the room we ask several times and only said yes but they never did it

Location is good. Small lobby & can get crowded. Breakfast was good, organized & clean. The bed seemed a bit soft & bumpy but clean. Room clean, compact, but sparing on towels. No hair dryer that I can find. Overall good.

Ok stay, rooms outdated need some repairs. Ac worked great. Outside grounds lil over grown

Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Area was safe and well lit. Convenient location. Adequate parking. Curtains kept light out so I slept well. Breakfast was good including scrambled eggs, sausage, pancakes, toast, mini muffins, cereal, juice. etc. Generally a very good stay for anyone looking for a basic hotel without a lot of extras.

Pool was dirty, room smells like cigarettes. Bathroom shower walls & ceiling was moldy
