Hampton Inn Cincinnati Airport South

This hotel was an older Hampton Inn, and it looked like it had not been remodeled in a long time. It was impossible with oncoming traffic to take a left from the main road to go to the hotel, so we had to drive past the road so that we could turn around and come at it from the opposite direction to get in. The lady at the front desk was super friendly and helpful, but the room was outdated, especially the bathroom. The curtains were broken and would not open, and there was hair in the shower. The bathroom faced the beds instead of entry hallway, which was strange, and the sliding door was extremely difficult to open. I expect Hampton Inns to be cleaner and in better shape. Most are new or newly remodeled, and if I had known this one was not, I would have chosen another hotel.

A great hotel with superb front desk service. We were in Cincinnati for one night and this hotel was well-located. Can't say enough about the staff, especially the staff member who was working the front desk--he was excellent. Highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel needs new carpet and flooring. Also needs stand up shower. Needs higher toilets as well. Needs liquid hand soap and not bar soap.

Amenities were clean and worked as expected. We used the airport shuttle. It was timely and helpful with luggage. They delivered us to our destination safely. Great location. Good value. Highly rated.

The breakfast hostess was awesome! She was willing to make my favorite but I declined.

There was no hand soap at the sink and we quickly ran out of tissues and toilet paper. They replaced all of these when we asked, but the room should have been well-stocked when we arrived and/or have backups already in the room. We discovered that our door didn't automatically latch when you leave or enter the room the way hotel doors are supposed to. You had to manually pull or push it hard for it to actually lock. Unsettling that someone could have walked into our room at any time until we figured this out. We reported this to the desk and they apologized, but honestly that's a big enough deal to me that I think money off or a voucher should have been offered.

Weekend getaway, perfect spot!

Nice clean room with good breakfast. Staff on checkin and evening shift very nice. Only issue was AC in room did not really cool efficiently. Did call the front desk and they sent someone up but he was unable to be helpful.

Great place to stay if you are going out of CVG. Shuttle available to take you to and from airport. You can leave your car parked on property for 50 dollars as an additional charge from your room.

It was clean and comfortable. The location was excellent and very convenient for our one night stop over. The breakfast was fantastic.
