The Harraseeket Inn & Event House Freeport Downtown

We really enjoyed this place. Nice room, with TV and coffee/ tea set ups. They served complimentary breakfast and afternoon snacks. They had plenty of ice for our cooler.

Location pool and the firepit. Breakfast was wonderful and we loved the carriage house. Will definitely return.

Another lovely stay. Beautiful property, overflowing with flowers. Comfortable rooms. Hearty breakfast.

Some rooms could use update. Nice amenities and convenient location.

We stayed in the carriage house. Very shabby room. Chair was torn up. Bathroom wallpaper was dirty. Hard to open windows as there is dry rot. I was so hopeful but this hotel missed the mark. Needs to be remodeled.

Need to have pet floors. Dogs barking in hallways. Also, the pillows are not good.

I just love staying at the pet friendly Harraseeket Inn and so does my little pooch. The separate building just for travelers and their pets is so brilliant. We all get why there may be a little barking and it bothers no one! There is a perfect small completely fenced in area just off the entrance which has a bench and was teeming with potted foliage. After a 9 hour drive, I appreciate the comfy bed, onsite restaurant, which serves up delicious food and drink and the nice spread at the continental breakfast.

This is such a beautiful hotel. I enjoyed our stay more than any other hotel I’ve ever been to. Our room was well appointed, comfortable bed, large bathroom, a fantastic view and so quiet. No hall noise,etc. We ate in the hotel restaurant and it was very good. We spent time in a sitting room with a fireplace and enjoyed meeting and conversing with other travelers. We even watched a couple’s wedding from a window in the dining room! The morning continental breakfast was included and was quite tasty. I would love to stay there again.

Someone could take some furniture polish and clean it up. Scratches and all. Wallpaper needed gluing down in places. Overall not the classy inn I expected.

The room was very clean and updated. Staff very friendly. My dinner was excellent. The hot breakfast and wide variety of items was a pleasant surprise. The sitting room with the fireplace was cosy.

Loved the location and ambience of the hotel. Would have been nice to have had someone to help us seniors with luggage into the Carriage House. Breakfast was great!

Breakfast was amazing but the poor waitress/host was by herself-it was her last day... she was amazing and apologetic. More staff eventually came in-and no one seemed upset by any of this-just a nice group of people altogether which made a challenging situation a little more comfortable. Everything was great-perhaps the restaurant staff could have been in communication with the hotel reception as the restaurant was booking out and a heads up would have been nice, Seemed like 2 entities and they were within feet of each other.

Foam pillows. No ability to live stream via external source and no NESN.

The breakfast was good. Not up to the former owners standards though. The breakfast staff was wonderful! I asked for a room that would accomodate that I use a walker. They gave me a room with a tub/shower with a side so high that normally fit people have trouble getting in it! I couldn't shower/bathe for 3 of the 4 nights (2 stays) I was there over the last month. For the last day they were able to move me to a room with a walk in shower.

Great time with family

It was a very comfortable place to stay

I want to know why they haven't sent me my hundred dollar deposit on the road back other than that everything was great
