A very beautiful Inn to stay at! The Gardens are beautiful and the building has a nostalgic historical feel. Only thing they could improve on, the fans in the bathrooms are very noisy when you hit the light switch. Other then that, perfect!

We loved our stay! The location was so convenient and the property, especially the outdoor space, was beautiful. We were able to use the property’s bikes to ride to a dinner and a yoga class.

The staff were most welcoming and always helpful and cheerful. Location was excellent and so handy to walk into town. Facilities within the hotel were amazing and the complimentary first drink, tea/coffee provided and afternoon tea in the lounge was such a lovely addition. Travelling from the UK with family via Ohio we had a wonderful time and aim to return.

Great location, lots of history and character, and we enjoyed our stay overall. We had a room in the carriage house, and had a few issues with the TV not working, and the upstairs neighbor arriving and making plenty of noise at 1-2am, but the beds are comfy and the restaurant is excellent!

This hotel sits in the heart of Freeport, just steps from major shopping destinations and within easy reach of downtown Portland. The property is well‑maintained and clearly cared for. The on‑site dining is a standout, offering excellent food and drinks, and the complimentary continental breakfast is consistently impressive.

We had to extend our stay because of a medical emergency. The staff was very helpful and very patient with us during an unpredictable circumstance. Nice hotel. Would definitely stay there again.

the harraseeket is a classic old coastal inn and it’s been maintained beautifully. the rooms were very tidy and graciously appointed. the staff was super friendly and helpful. the restaurant on site is quite good. prices are comparable to chains in the area, so it seemed like a no-brainer to stay at the historic option. overall, we loved our stay and would certainly stay again.
-
wonderful spacious rooms and friendly staff, and a nice continental breakfast. Trule enjoyed our stay.

The only thing I was not crazy about was the dinner. I got in about an hour before the dining room closed and ordered something I could bring to my room. Realizing it was late I ordered appetizers. Crab cakes were all bread, I could find no crab, the calamari had no taste. BUT the Brussels sprouts and Lobster Bisque were fantastic

Very lovely and spacious room with garden view. Easy and free parking. We loved the short walk into town. The piano player in the evening was a nice touch and the fire in the fireplace in the sitting room added to a beautiful ambience. Continental breakfast was just ok. Overall, we liked this hotel and would return

My only complaint being that our room was by the air filter system, it was so bad our walls shook while it was running and the noise pretty annoying. The pool was amazing, staff lovely and the restaurant was excellent!

Loved it

Ample parking at a very clean property

The "continental" breakfast was more than adequate, and other options at modest additional cost, such as eggs benedict over crab cakes. The swimming pool was warm and relaxing. Location was convenient to arrival from interstate, located in historic part of town near restaurants, coffee shop, boutique shopping, L.L. Bean. Afternoon tea is something not to miss for opportunity to mingle. Room service attention and reception staff were courteous and accommodating. The only thing about our particular 3rd floor room that could have been a problem for tall guests was the sloped ceiling on one side of the room, not too much of a problem for us at under 5'8" to dodge. You could ask about this possible situation if you are assigned a room on top floor.

Destined to be kindergarten teacher......will.be incredible at such a formative age....as the twig is bent, so grows the tree. They will be in great hands!! Made meal more enjoyable! Not a single complaint. Dont change a thing!
