We enjoyed our stayed

The hotel is not maintained.Carpet is dirty. Room was dusty and needed cleaning. Elevator doesn’t work. Maid service was nonexistent.

The staff was excellent, especially Cicely. She was phenomenal with everything we needed. I would/will stay at this particular Homewood Suite again on my next vacation.

The only thing is that the breakfast was pretty good the first morning but they do change it everyday and it was okay the following days. But overall it was amazing great location to everything!

The hotel is not.what it says. It did not give Hilton quality, the furniture is old and the kitchen was not kept the way it should have been. My room ceiling fan and light did not work at all 4 all 4 days i stayed and nobody offered a solution. It took me on the 3rd day to even get a luggage dolly for my suitcases. Mind you staff said they only have at the property. After prepaying for parking I was charged an additional $80.for parking. Worst stay ever, never again and corporate will hear about it.

Nice clean rooms

We stayed during the of July weekend. Clean rooms and a decent breakfast variety (I made breakfast tacos our first morning in the hotel with the options they provided). Parking is $20/day and you get in and out privileges which is great. The hotel is directly across from Stewert Beach so we walked across the street to enjoy there are no sidewalks on the hotel side and the traffic lights for pedestrians did not work when we were there so you're playing a game of frogger lol). No need to bring beach chairs or umbrellas if there are 2 of you because the beach service offers that set for $40 for the DAY! We went early so had no issues getting the set, you just sit where you want it you can call the number but either way, they come to you. The hotel's beach proximity also meant it was close to the beach showers, restrooms, and food truck. We'll stay here again for the ease of beach access, comfortable rooms, and breakfast.

First, I’d like to mention the positives. We really appreciated the personalized welcome message on the TV when we entered our room. It was a thoughtful touch that made us feel valued as guests. The room itself was spacious, comfortable, and nicely laid out, making our stay enjoyable overall. Unfortunately, the cleanliness did not meet the standards I expected from a Hilton property. As the owner of a professional cleaning company, I tend to notice details that others may overlook. There was a significant amount of dust throughout the room, including on surfaces that should be cleaned during every turnover. This suggests that dusting is either being rushed or missed entirely during the cleaning process. A room can appear clean at first glance, but attention to detail is what truly makes guests feel comfortable and confident in the cleanliness of their accommodations. My other disappointment was the parking fee. We were charged $20 per day to park at the hotel. I’ve stayed at many hotels, and it’s uncommon to pay an additional parking fee at a property where you’re already paying to stay overnight, especially when the parking lot is part of the hotel property. This extra charge felt unnecessary and significantly impacted the overall value of our stay. Overall, the hotel has great potential with friendly touches, comfortable rooms, and a welcoming atmosphere. However, improving housekeepin

I usually like Homewood Suites but this one was rough for us. The beds are rock hard— some people like firmer beds, but we were hurting after just one night. The breakfast was the same thing both days which was a bummer. Normally I would like chorizo but it was almost like a chili, it was swimming in so much grease. The pool would have been nice except that the water was pretty dirty and the handrail to go from the splash pad/shallow end into the deeper water was broken. The staff was friendly and helpful, and it was nice for our dog to be someplace safe. The rooms themselves were clean. But if we come back for an overnight stay in Galveston, we will not stay here- the beds are the dealbreaker.

The hotel check in was easy and very great. The desk clerk John I believe his name was, was extremely helpful and kind. Everything was nice and clean from the lobby to the rooms. Our room was HUGE!! We did not expect it to be such a wide living area. Traveling with 3 kids was nice with all of the space and kitchen amenities. The pool was really fun, and the complementary breakfast was very nice. Also the beach was a cross the street so that was a plus! We booked 3 nights/4 days and it was very affordable for 2 adults and 3 kids. 10/10 we WILL book again!!
