Bear Creek Inn

Best part of the whole stay was actually having a bear walk right passed our balcony to get a drink from the beautiful little creek behind us.

I loved the newly renovated room right on top of a gorgeous creek !! And we saw a bear in the creek around 5:30 at night !! Great room and unbelievable view !!

There was a strange wet substance on the floor. We enjoyed the river view from the balcony.

What you get in a tourist town these days

Room was not as described, elvator was filthy and no inspection certificate displayed chairs on balcony was so small they could only accommodate someone 138 lbs or less. Waited 15 or more minutes outside in sun before staff came to check us in. Not the cleanest room and lighting in room was horrible

Beautiful water view balcony, very clean room

Very basic hotel but the rooms were clean, the balcony and creek view was perfect! We slept with the door open the first night and just listened to nature. Nice size rooms. Staff was friendly. Will definitely stay here again

Our room was very clean and cozy. The creek side balcony was very satisfying. We even had a pleasant encounter with a bear while enjoying the creek and balcony. I would definitely stay here again.

Friendly staff. Balcony is a perfect spot to read a book. Room was in need of repair. AC froze me out!

I grew up here in East Tennessee hadn't been here since I was kid and this place is still exceptional the rooms were very nice and clean and the staff was amazing, it's awesome for couples and the view of the Bear creek from the balcony was amazing I will be staying here the next visit

The location was ok if you just want to stay in the room and relax. Walking was kind of hard because of the hill back up to the hotel. Overall it was a pleasant weekend getaway!!

The room was clean - we could smell the Clorox as soon as we opened the door, however the arm chair in the room needed a good cleaning-it was very stained. Some of the power outlets were loose or did not work. The water in the shower came out brown when we turned the faucet on but cleared quickly. The tub did not have any non- slip strips so we put a towel in the tub to stand on. The phone in the room did not work. The staff was nice but we did have to take our towels/wash cloths down to them in order to get more. There is not a free breakfast, which most hotels in the area have. There was a very nice river running behind the hotel, which was the very best!!! The bed was comfortable and the room was suitable for the price we paid. Would recommend to anyone on a budget,

Solo trip to Gatlinburg- Bear Creek Inn was walking distance to many restaurants and attractions on the strip. Loved the balcony and the creek. Clean and comfortable!

The room was good just a little smell and the pillows were not comfortable at all but the staff was nice and very helpful

The a/c was nice. Good for the price.

Older property def outdated. Some trash was around the property etc but for the price and location you can’t beat it. Even seen a bear from the creek side balcony .
