Bear Creek Inn

Room was clean. Needs better pillows.

Bear Creek Inn has great room prices through the hotel booking sites. It has all the basic comforts but is pretty lean on luxuries like no tissue boxes, no on-site breakfast. It has a great balcony located over the next door creek and the creek is lighted with multi-color lights at night. Beds are comfortable and water pressure is good with plenty of hot water. Rooms are a bit on the dark side. All appliances worked including the mini-fridge and microwave.

Amazing location. Next to the river stream. Away from the noisy main road.

Floors were very dirty and hair was all on the beds and pillows. We went and bought our own sheets and pillows.

​We stayed there for 3 days. Every single day we requested room cleaning service, and they didn't show up even once to actually clean. They only came by on the first day to leave towels, and those towels smelled awful. I don't know what they wash them with, but they had a terrible odor. They never cleaned the room or changed the sheets. The service was terrible, and the staff treated us very badly. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone; it was horrible. ​To make matters worse, the front desk was only open until 11:00 PM. After that, if you needed help, you had to call a number or walk to another one of their properties located about 5 minutes away just to ask for something. Also, the washing machines didn't work, and the vending machines didn't work either. Everything was absolutely awful and terrible.

Nice area to stay but they do not take pride in keeping things clean ! Stairs elevator patio has not seen a cleaning in a long time ! Rooms are just ok and need to be deep cleaned the ac smelled so bad that we put in car ac plug in just to by pass the smell in the room! Beware of office door it will slam upon entry . My arm was slammed by the door and skin was torn off and bleeding receptionist gave me alcohol wipes and antibiotics cream but did not even say sorry ! Not one time during our stay did anyone check on us ! Doctor called in antibiotics for my arm ! During check out told the receptionist about the door and what it did to me. I also told her I seen them working on door ! All she could say was have a nice day ! So our stay here was a little different then most . Will not stay there again!!

Sure it wasn't perfect. They did have a few minor maintenance issues( mostly cosmetic) but was very happy with my stay and I think I now found me the hotel im gonna stay in every time I come to town

Personally I thought it was low class. Room smelled old. I thought the place was dumpy.

The view from the room was fabulous and the room was ok. We stopped twice to check in but on one was in the office! Another guest was ahead of us and he drove away! Other than that it was a great place to relax!

Room was clean but the floors always had a "wet" feeling too them. Bed was clean and pretty comfy. Obviously the best part of the room is the view. The rest is just ok, which is fine for a night. No breakfast, one of the lights didn't work. Water pressure not great. But the location was also great, you can walk to the downtown area and man was that nice- you do not wanna be in that traffic!! For what I needed it suited me.

Solo trip. Great location. Very walkable. All rooms have a balcony over the creek. Very clean and well maintained. Will definitely be back. Even seen a black bear around 11pm down by the creek. Oh, and take advantage of the free trolley system in Gatlinburg as well! Great little getaway

OK, the beds were pretty comfortable. The rooms were pretty clean. We found some issues there. However, our biggest issue was after we checked in room 110 we went in to clean up and then we left for a few hours and when we came back, we noticed some towels and stuff that we’re missing so I go to the front desk and they told us they had went in our room after we checked in and took the towels out didn’t seem right to us. Why were you going to clean it after we checked in?
