Carr's Northside Motel and Cottages

My husband and I enjoyed our 3 night stay here. This place was great for the price. We had a room with a balcony that overlooked the river. The beds were comfortable and the room was spacious and worked for our needs. The room appears outdated, however had floors that were not carpeted which we prefer. We did utilize the pool one day and it was clean and comfortable- not crowded. If we return to the area we will stay here again.

I had total privacy on the balcony of my unit, overlooking the stream and a lovely family of ducks. It was quite a relaxing atmosphere. I would definitely book again!

Office staff were exceptional. Room was very clean. Great location, loved having the creek out back. Close to everything. Very accommodating to everything. Would definitely book again!

Parking is very poor

The cabin was so much fun to stay in. There was a bit of a musty smell but considering it was a log cabin I don’t think it was a big deal.

Location was ok, the creek behind the unit was wonderful. The unit had a very musty/stale smell when we walked in. When we turned the ac down it seemed to have gotten better.

Close to the creek Very dirty, especially the floors and the hallway. Alsosome things like bottom of doors and walls in bathroom rotting

It was clean and nice. We enjoyed it. The hot water in one of our rooms didnt work but it was resolved

It was my friend’s first trip to the U.S. Sadly it was this hotel’s irresponsibility, ignorance, and the terrible sanitary conditions that constituted his first impression. Very disappointed.

I loved the view it’s quiet it’s peaceful! The last 2 times I’ve stayed the floors are so nasty it’s so bad we have to wipe our feet off when we get on the bed or else we will get the bed dirty we also have to wear shoes I had to go buy cleaning stuff to mop the floors I could stand it everything is very clean besides the floors

Loads of parking spaces, a swimming pool and lots of chairs out to spend a lazy evening next to the creek. Not too far from the shops and restaurants, will definately stay here again!

The location was so nice. Sitting on the balcony was nice the sound of the water was wonderful! And peaceful. The staff was excellent! And very accommodating It was dated. And it was hard to see the water from our balcony due to a lot of foliage. But it made it woodsy!

It was good The staff wouldn’t work with you trying to get a mistake corrected . We were charged twice for our room and neither booking.com worked with us are CARR’s Cottage didn’t work with us. Each blamed each other.

Property is conveniently located within walking distance to Gatlinburg amenities. Rooms and cabins have that rustic, woodsy feel and are comfortable. I will definitely return for more stays!
