Located on East Parkway, Brookside Lodge is a 9-minute walk from the Gatlinburg City Center. Property amenities include 2 seasonal outdoor pools, guest laundry, basketball/volleyball and shuffleboard courts and fitness center. Room amenities include balconies overlooking the river, microwave, refrigerator, coffeemaker, safe and flat screen TVs are provided in every guest room. There is property-wide WiFi, a sundeck, patio/BBQ area with fire pit along the Roaring Fork mountain stream. This hotel is 3 mi from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and less than 9.9 mi from the Dollywood Theme Park. There are also several dining options located across the street and downtown on the Parkway which is 0.2 mi downhill.

Floors in room was very dirty had certainly not been mopped

The location was wonderful for us!! Away from the crowds, the shops and the circus attractions but close to 2 great restaurants (Alamo and Le Conte Tapas), This motel could use some basic maintenance (loose bathroom sink and tub faucets, no weather stripping under door, smelly air conditioning, etc.) and maybe some fresh paint. The breakfast is okay.

Check in was nice, helpful and “goodie bag” was nice touch. Rooms definitely need updated and pillows are a no go! Need ur own due to pillow size is like a throw pillow. The entire place needs updates. Bathroom was clean

Although the hotel was older than some, the charm made it shine new. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and accommodating in every way. Our room was very quiet and private, with a wonderful view of the creek. In short, we will staying at the Brookside Lodge again very soon.

Updates are needed in the room. Areas on the walls where paint needed a touch up.

This was our 2nd visit to Brookside Lodge, and we're already planning our 3rd. Hotel is older, but very well maintained and charming. Love the balcony and sitting and listening to water. Be on the look out for bears as we saw at least one every day. Hotel has a quiet location, on the trolley line, and very easy access if you want to go into Pidgeon Forge. Breakfast is average but large clean cozy rooms more than makeup for it. Staff is very helpful and welcoming. Won't stay anywhere else.

We have stayed here twice this year and are thinking about a Christmas trip. We just love how kind the people are and if you need anything they are willing to do what you need. The views are amazing and the rooms are clean and peaceful

We arrived after 6:00pm and were told that our room was on the third floor and the elevator was out. They would give us a refund but how to find a room late was not on option. They finally located a room on the second floor with 2 queen beds so we took it. It did have a fire place but wood burning and no wood provided. It did have an indoor and outdoor pools but both were closed. We were creekside with a balcony and that was great. Room was clean but in need of updating (bathroom door torn up carpet needed to be cleaned, burned wood in fireplace).

I would also like to add that out of every location we’ve stayed at in the past this is the only place where the pictures on the site are exactly what you get when you show up. Overall it’s a great location to stay.

Very nice motel. Nice balcony overlooking creek. Motel definitely has a rustic Gatlinburg vibe. Didn't try breakfast but a large dining room. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Special shout out to Rachel who helped us to change dates on reservations. She also called us before arrival to let us know elevator was out on building we were to stay in. Being age 72 it would be rough climbing 3 flights of stairs. She was able to get us another room. This was our third stay at motel and will definitely stay there again.

Overall good experience. Everything was clean. Rooms are a little noisy with other guests. Walls are paper thin

The room was very nice, however there were some issues. The bathroom door did not latch, and the bed was not very comfortable. Other than that, the decor and the view were beautiful.

Our room was clean balcony view of the creek very peaceful The property is a little run down but for the two nights we did bot use the the hot tub or other amenities overall good

The staff were great and the grounds were clean. The room was fine-loved the patio overlooking the creek. Loved seeing the bears when we were there. Stayed in the 4th floor and unfortunately the elevator was broken! That was a little rough to tote our bags and supplies for the week up those stairs! Hopefully they will fix it soon!

Elevator was out of service for the entire stay. Spiders in bathroom, bathroom faucet leaking and some of the lights in the room didn’t work.

Elevator was broken. Shower was barely spraying water out. Very difficult to shower.
