Staff was very friendly but the only thing this property has going for it is the creek flowing behind it. Lights didn’t work, beds were older than me and I’m 60. Even my grandsons asked why I booked this place.

I loved, loved, loved my stay here. The room was so spacious with tall ceilings, a nice balcony on the river, and nice rustic real-wood furniture. The room was decorated so cute and the bed was comfortable. There were also outside amenities including grassy areas, shuffleboard, and two pools. One of the pools even has a waterfall and a kids slide. The staff was friendly and welcoming. I will definitely stay here again.

This is one of the older hotels in the area but absolutely unforgettable. They have taken great care of it from the path along the river to the front desk area. We fell asleep to the sound of the river giving an incredible atmosphere. The breakfast was simple but abundant, with an extremely large dining area filled with paintings of the area as well as overlooking the river. The pool was clean and literally had an area for all ages to enjoy along with it's own waterfall. There's a trolley stop in front and across the street and the walk to downtown was only 15 minutes. The staff was super friendly and helpful with just about anything we had asked. I already can't wait for a future booking at this hotel.

We had a great overnight. Stay here! We booked the room on Expedia as we pulled into Gatlinburg and we loved how the resort is situated on a creek. We got the honeymoon suite, which means it was an extra large and room with a balcony overlooking the creek. This place is definitely old, but it was clean, easy to get to and spacious. We didn’t see any bears here, but there was a curious raccoon kit who like to hang down from the balcony above and peek onto our balcony hoping for some snacks!

Staff was excellent. Breakfast was good. Pools were awesome to swim in. Looked like some of the fitness equipment was not able to be used but overall was ok. Room lookd like they are in the process of updating them and could have used a little bit more lighting but overall it was an amazing stay! Highly recommend

Staff were very nice. Rooms were in pretty good shape for being an older hotel. Beds were a little bouncy, but comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was good with a good spread and in a very spacious dining hall. The pool was good sized and the slide and waterfall along with it were a nice touch for the kids. Having the river run through the back of the property was amazing along with a walking path. The free trolley for Gatlinburg stopped right at the front of the property! Even if you walk, the property is only 10 minutes from the main drag of Gatlinburg. Great affordable place to stay if you want to be close to Gatlinburg for a night or two. They do charge $5 for parking per day, which I didn't understand. Would rather just have them add that into the price of the room. Paying for parking at a quiet hotel seemed weird to me. Other than that great place.

The two pools were very nice, although we had some intrusion by an extremely inconsiderate guest...they left quickly and we were able to enjoy to rest of the day.

Very old and dated. Not well kept at all. Elevators filthy . Beautiful property but they need to tear it all down and rebuild or do a major overhaul. Checked out a day early even though there was no refund

Kinda dark. Needs updating. Mold on shower curtain. Breakfast was excellent. Staff was very, very friendly, inviting and sweet!!

Clean room right next to the river, super peaceful.

Definitely a "mature" property. Multi-level, motel style layout - separate buildings from check-in office, breakfast area (in newer event center) so walking outside a lot. Room was surprisingly spacious and very comfortable. Balcony overlooking creek and walkway was nice and offered good privacy from others. Pretty good breakfast and decent (outdoor) pool area for both kids and adults. A little further away from main strip than expected but free trolley stop right out front solved that. Lots of warnings of racoons and bears but didn't see any evidence of visits.

Breakfast was amazing. Rooms really big, need new beds and bigger pillows.

The staff was great. We were able to check in early, which was huge since we had a 2pm tour booked. Since there is a lot of traffic, we were glad to be able to walk to town within 10 minutes. There is so much to do in the area we didn’t spend as much time at the resort.

We loved the room, the creek, the pool and the awesome breakfast buffet! Will definitely stay again!

The bad..we smelled pot when we went into the hallway to the room... outdoor pool was not helpful for the blind..only one handle bar to go into the pool and the steps had no handles.and the breakfast was from a can.eggs tasted like had water mix in instead of milk.orange juice tasted like grapefruit. The good.. the bed and pillows was nice n soft..the balcony was nice to set out on..it was quite..wood stay again..

Local owned, Super nice staff, free full breakfast. Has mid century charm with modern amenities. Rooms were very clean, property was well maintained. We enjoyed the pool, and access to the creek behind the property. We come to Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge a few times per year and have paid much more for way less accommodations.
