Staff was welcoming and helpful, breakfast was good, and the process was easy.

Family of 3, booked a king suite with pull out sofa for son. The room had decent space but balcony had not been cleaned in some time, spiders were everywhere! We were missing bed linens, arrived to a defrosted wet refrigerator, and only 3 satellite channels on the tv. The electric fire place and the view of the river was nice. Being 10-15 min walking distance to the main strip and having easy access to the trolley stop in front of hotel was nice. The staff was l rude when asked for pool towels and missing room linens. And the room phone did not work to call the front the desk. The pool was absolutely disgusting clumps of slime and hair balls floating around with lots of bugs, filter was either broken or turned off. At the bottom of the pool were sharp cement/plaster chunks that cut our toes and made us bleed. The continental breakfast was average and the same everyday.

Door stopped working mid trip, it was fixed quickly nothing super nice, tv channels were poor if you got them to work it was just okay

Great room to pull right up to and be riverside! Love the fireplace and balcony and easy walk into town (yet felt like a great distance, tucked away) will be back! Thank you

This is a great hotel. While it’s a little older you can tell the owner is working to freshen the place up. The staff was amazing, the location was great, and you can’t ask for much more.

Room was clean. Beds comfortable. AC in the room was noisy. Breakfast was good in the mornings. Love the location and being able to walk right from the hotel to downtown Gatlinburg.

The hotel itself was in a good place to be able to walk or use the trolley to get to and from Gatlinburg. The free breakfast was fantastic and the staff was very nice overall. The hotel itself is very dated and not as clean as it could have been, but for the price it was worth it overall.

The room was clean .Everyday they brought us towels and rags and made our bed and cleaned.The staff was very friendly.loves our view from the balcony.We will go back again.

The room was clean, it wasn't handicap accessible, the refrigerator was just barely cool. Still enjoyed the stay. Loved the balcony!!!

The room was very clean, and they gave it to me an hour and a half early—since I had driven for eleven and a half hours to get there and arrived ahead of schedule. Breakfast was ready nice and early in the morning, and it was delicious.

We have stayed at this hotel everytime we have visited Gatlinburg over the last 13 years. Ot was always clean, good breakfast. Hot tub has been down a few times. Pool is as cd as jumping in a cooler of ice water. They have changed owners several times and it is about 1 mile downtown. We never cared because of the great service, comfy beds and it had everything we were looking for. We'll this week we planned our trip and stayed there even though they are more expensive than most. We needed to relax and enjoy some alone time. We get there to check in, of course the room isnt ready, I see a sign saying Hot tub is done which they say nothing about. When I asked about it, she stated it would be up and working in a day. Which was fine. They next day the pool is empty and the hot tub is not fixed. Still nothing was said to anyone. They fill the pool with ice cold water and didnt fix the hot tub. They replaced their firepits with metal containers and said go get wood out of the shed. They didnt give anything to start a fire, so that didn't work. The beds were the most uncomfortable and to top it all of the rooms they just redid now have paper thin walls. You can hear everything in the next room and above you. We were talking about extending our stay but we couldn't get out of there quick enough. Won't be back to Gatlinburg on the river! A waste of a vacation.
