Gatlinburg River Inn

Nice, older hotel that has been updated. The AC was noisy and access to the room was a bit of a haul since all the upper rooms are accessed along an outdoor walkway, and I happened to get the room at the very end, and the ramp that was nearest my room was blocked off due to repairs. Other things in the room were very nice and clean, and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was small but had newer fixtures. There is a nice little balcony that overlooks the river. The breakfast was good and the staff helpful with questions and suggestions.

Beds were hard as a board wood around baseboards in bathroom were rotten door knob on balcony kept falling off not very satisfied

Convenient

The room was clean and kept clean daily. The staff was friendly and helpful. Pool and hot tub were clean and working. Towels available for the pool/hot tub area. Good variety of places to sit or lounge at the pool. The area by the river with chairs and fire pits was nice as well. We enjoyed sitting out on the balcony overlooking the river. Beds were pretty comfortable. Not the best I've slept on, but certainly not the worst. Room had TV, refrigerator and microwave. Lighting could have been better and the plug situation between the beds could have been better. There was a device on the bedside table that should have been able to be used for charging, but none of the ports worked. There was no closet to hang clothes in. It's an older hotel that has had some maintenance, but needs a bit more inside the rooms. We did feel safe there. It is right by the Purple Trolley stop, which was nice. Breakfast was ok, but not great. Coffee was good. There was some fresh fruit, yogurt, bread products and waffle maker. Typical motel "scrambled eggs" and sausage and biscuits and gravy. We ate there the first morning, but found another restaurant for the other two mornings of our stay.

Love the river view! Trolley stop near by and Moonshine Mountain Coaster! Hillbilly Golf very short walk!

The view was amazing and the hotel was very close to downtown, walking distance but the hotel is not like the picture. It is very old and the rooms were very outdated but I did enjoy the stay and the views. Gatlinburg is beautiful!!!!

What a cute place! Very clean and comfortable. We had a room on the river and it was so peaceful. Highly recommend!

This was the perfect place to stay with our 17 month old! The kids pool was a great touch and she had it to herself everytime. Being able to park right by the hotel room door was soooo convenient. Late check in was simple and easy ( we arrived at 1:30am). The breakfast was great. Within walking distance to most things in gatlinburg. We very much enjoyed our stay! Thank you!

Great place to stay

Great location, very walkable to downtown. Our room was clean. Breakfast was dismal. From our balcony saw a bear on our first night.

Clean but very dated. Helpful staff and convenient location.

Room was dusty other than that I enjoyed our stay.
