This was one of the BEST hotels ive ever stayed at. We had the Heirloom Suite. We had a delicious dinner at the resturant downstairs. Will be back!

This was one of my favorite hotels I have stayed at! From check-in to check-out the experience was seamless. We were greeted by the staff immediately upon pulling in and they showed us to our room and made check-in very easy. The peaceful setting right on the river was a dream. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in the Smoky Mountains/Gatlinburg area.

June 19th, 2026 we checked in for a 7 day stay. On the 3rd day we found a staff member in our room in the dark nothing for housekeeping or a cart. We were instructed to put the red arrow on our door if we didn't want anyone to clean. We had done this and also made staff aware that morning we didn't want our room touched. Claudia the manager confirmed this as well. We never found the arrow the staff member in our room said she had just changed our sheets and made our bed that was a lie. The bed was made exactly how I had left it. The sheets had a stain which was still there in the same place. When we approached the manager (Claudia) She didn't take our complaint seriously and told us her staff member did nothing wrong. We did not feel safe after this to leave our stuff in our room and go sightseeing. So we checked out and booked another place. We loved the view the sound of the river and honestly hated to leave. My husband is a retired Police Dectective and knew right away something was up and no longer felt safe himself staying there. It was clear the staff were allowed to do whatever they wanted by entering guest rooms. Claudia was not responsive in anyway like saying I assure you this want happen again etc... we had no choice but to move hotels. I personally will never stay there again and warn future guests you will have no privacy and your items will not be protected.

Several things stood out to me, staff very friendly and helpful, the location for me was great, quite, over looking the river, looking at nature while having a hot cup of coffee. The restaurant was very nice, service, food and convenient.

This is a really neat place with nice rooms facing the water. The problem is that if you arrive at the wrong time there is no one to tell you where to go or how to get checked in. They also only seemed to keep one person at the office and it may be several hours to get a response for something like getting extra towels, ice, water or just general information. This on top of the lack of parking spaces that can be pulled into and back out of in an easy manner, it is right on the main strip for Gatlinburg so it was not easy to deal with parking and exiting. Then additionally the road noise from loud motorcycles or vehicles echoes between this building, the building across the street and the building across the rivers. I am a lite sleeper and was not able to get sleep while staying there. The room was also above the restaurant that is part of the inn and they started working in the kitchen early in the morning which guaranteed no more sleeping for me. It really was nicely maintained though and in a spot that allowed for easy walking to many things in Gatlinburg.

Fantastic stay at this hotel! Travelled as a couple, first time in Gatlinburg. Two biggest positives about this hotel were the breakfast at the heirloom room and the staff, both were excellent and better than I’ve experienced at hotels twice the price. Rooms overlook the water and are clean and well kept. Great experience overall. Firmly reccomend.

So it kept me from sleeping. Asked for repair and told it was done , but was not fixed. I had no sleep, my health was ruined and all because of a very old wall AC that could not be repaired. There was no attendant on site late at night to help with problem. How could this be a luxury hotel with minimal amenities and too old to operate systems. Shameful for the way it is promoted. It is not a small luxury hotel. Could be a roadside hotel without a restaurant. The bathroom is so small, you have to squeeze in to use toilet as the toilet blocks the door. TV cuts off as if on an antenna in a storm. Needs some honesty here as I feel betrayed by Expedia’s listing info. I want a refund!

Loved sitting outside in the morning with coffee and listening to the river

  • Engine customer Jun 2026

WOW! This is an incredible place to stay. Not only a beautiful location, but the level of hospitality here is top-tier. They greet you upon arrival and show you to your room. Offer to help with EVERYTHING! It is truly an experience unlike any other resort/hotel I have stayed at. You truly feel cared about and valued. Food is amazing in the Heirloom room, and service is just as amazing. Sitting out on our patio (overlooking the river) and reading was my favorite. Listening to the water was peaceful and relaxing. Even when it was time to say goodbye, the staff wanted to say goodbye and offer their gratitude for us staying there. I would stay here over and over if I could! Stay here; you will not regret a minute of it! Thank you again for an unforgettable stay!

This hotel is absolutely stunning! The staff were very helpful and it was nice to enjoy some quiet away from the main downtown core of Gatlinburg. We can’t wait to come back soon!

Excellent weekend stay. Property is well located to enjoy all of the activities Gatlinburg has to offer, but removed from the overly crowded area so you have peace and quiet in the evening. Balcony overlooking the Little Pigeon River provided a welcome respite from the heat of the day. Property is well maintained. Friendly, helpful staff. Very accomodating for my companionndog. Will definitely be back.

Everything about it was beautiful. Nothing.

  • Engine customer May 2026

    Great room and location.

  • Engine customer May 2026

Mr. Keith was an exceptional welcome to the property. The only two things I would add/change is WATER in the room. That was a downer, but we managed ourselves. Also parking, is a nightmare space 103 is impossible to get into and getting out was even worse. Great property we will be back in April 2027!

  • Engine customer May 2026

Love that every room had a balcony view of mountains and water...very well thought out That we couldn't stay more nights

Nice view, helpful and available stuff. The food at the attached restaurant was excellent
