My only issue was noise from the road at night. But fortunately we had a white noise machine that helped drown out the traffic.

Had no idea Gatlinburg was such a quirky town. This place may be one of the “most normal “ things you will see/stay at… although you don’t know where to go when pulling off the busy street as there is no registration! They come out to meet you with a laptop. As I said… the whole town is quirky. Room was nice, bathroom very large. Updated

Cannot say any part of the property was worth a good rating. Lots of road noise, dangerous shower (slick as snot), parking was crappy, door to balcony had to be kicked open, air conditioner was verrry loud. Refused a refund when we left after one night.

Staff were extremely service oriented and helpful. Loved being along the water. Fantastic restaurant on property. AC unit was noisy but worked well.

Great place and staff. Location is perfect to get to downtown. A/C units in the rooms could use to be updated,but still work well. Location is perfect with the river view on the balcony of each room. Really enjoyed our stay, highly reccomend.

Great experience once again at this resort. Very peaceful and beautiful balcony scenery. Staff was accommodating and helpful when needed. We would like to see a regular coffee maker in the room as well as the expresso machine, but it did help us find a great coffee shop on the corner. The throw blankets in the rooms are really nice and it would be awesome if they let us purchase one as a memento. Thank you once again for an awesome stay!

Would definitely stay here again! Not too far from the all the fun but far enough for it to be peaceful and quiet. The balcony is nice to relax on. Also seen a couple bears.

The staff was very attentive, engaging and kind! Dakota was very accommodating at check in. The rooms overlook a beautiful creek. It was a very relaxing setting! We will definitely return!! Fantastic stay!

They advertise as historic and elegant. Historic: they are a restored mid20 century roadside motel - in need of updating. Elegant: haven’t a clue where that comes in. Staff is friendly and helpful. On the edge of tourist-Gatlinburg

The room was even more beautiful than we imagined. It was exceptionally clean, thoughtfully designed, and filled with luxurious touches that made the entire stay feel special. One of our absolute favorite parts was having the river running right outside our room—the sound of the water created such a peaceful, romantic atmosphere that was unlike anywhere we’ve stayed before. It was the perfect setting for a night filled with love, laughter, and making new memories together. There is something incredibly special about this beautiful little boutique inn, and it became a meaningful part of our Tennessee trip. We absolutely loved our stay and would not hesitate to return. If you’re looking for a romantic, luxurious, and unique place to stay in the Smokies, Historic Rocky Waters Inn is truly a gem. ❤️

The room was excellent . The view from the Balcony was Outstanding. Listening to the water as it swiped through the rivers boulders in the river was so relaxing. Breakfast was included in the Heirloom Restaurant was outstanding. Dinner is not to be missed absolutely wonderful. In a Tourist town full of Hamburger Joints this was a shining star in Gourmet Cooking. Brilliant Chef and very nice Wait Stuff. Our waitress was Mandy so informative ...we just loved her suggestions which were right on point. I would go back to eat here again. Absolutely Nothing.

Our room had seeping water coming out of the floor. There was mold that was masked by air fresheners. My wife and I were disappointed and ready to leave the hotel but they then moved us to a different room that didn't have issues. The 1st room should never have been rented out, not a a hotel that claims to be a small luxury hotel.
