Motel 6 Gatlinburg, TN - Smoky Mountains

Needs some updating.friendly front desk personnel. Great location but a little on the older side

The room seemed clean and everything worked except the jacuzzi which I did not know would be in the room, so no problem. The one person at the desk had the personality of a rattle snake. The outside of the motel was very ugly. Overall I don't plan to stay there again but it was the only motel that accepts pets with no extra charge

Perfect location to downtown and pet friendly. Clean property. I ended up staying 4 more days. Big thanks to Aldean... she was awesome at the front desk

Inside the room was nice. Clean and comfortable, the modern furnishings must have recently been updated. The exterior/surroundings however were uncomfortably run down. Between the many loud dogs of the long term residents barking all night and the filthy pet relief area, I cannot recommend this place for anything longer than a quick overnight stay. Unfortunately, it’s not a great place to bring your wife and kids for any length of time.

That I could bring my dog didn’t have a blanket only a sheet , my door would barley lock and no coffee maker . The place is about to fall apart and early morning would hear people fighting with each other . Way over priced for what u get . Will never been back

I liked when we booked the room came with a heart shape tub. Once at the property , there’s was a non heart shape jacuzzi with signs saying do not use, their were baby roaches found on the floor and the atmosphere a bit shady.

Seeing a bearing the first day we checked in. Nothing

Facilities look nothing like photo when booking. We were assigned a handicap room which had little to nothing in it. Our washcloths had pubic hairs on them and the regular towels had long hairs. We ended up sharing a towel to dry off. Paint was peeling around the shower head with little water pressure. Sheets were stained. Bed was very uncomfortable . Shady characters walking around the facilities and the area in general looked run down . It’s a one and done for me and never again

Not a bad hotel overall, but the battery to the door lock of my room died while I was returning to my vehicle to grab some things eventually, the staff made me break the door down in order to get my things out of the room no real apologies just a hey can you break this door down? I’ll move you to a new room. Very strange situation. Very strange experience.

The balcony and that it is pet friendly. The shower when you turn it on it was cold and it came out of both the shower and the falset it would not just come out of the foulset only. The cold was hot,hot was cold. No handy cap rooms my mom is in a wheelchair and the bathroom door was not wide enough for the wheelchair.

The room was nice just no towels or washrags. There w a s people sitting in their doorways smoking meth pipes.

This hotel was great. Remodeled and very clean. Next to the trolley route. No pet fees. Aldeen at the desk is wonderful as is the night man although I didn't get his name. The only problem that I see is with the guests that don't appreciate that they have a nice clean room and are allowed their pets with no fee but refuse to clean up after their dogs. This is not the hotel's fault at all. They do their best to keep the dedicated area mowed and clean. They provide a garbage can and bags. It's sad to think that there are some people that don't appreciate how good this is and just leave their dog droppings for other people to step around and step in by accident. I don't know if it's people that feel entitled or they're just lazy , but it really ruins it for everyone else! So I highly recommend this hotel for people who love their pets to bring them.... Just be aware of where you step and realize some people have no consideration for others.

It was close to downtown. The door had a crack in it 2 inches wide. There were people staying in the room next to us that we could here talking loud and babies crying all hours of the night the walls are paper thin, they either hung out by the door outside or screamed on the inside. I spoke with the lady at the desk and she said she would handle it but they continued to be loud. We checked out one day early because of this. The bed was also hard as a rock.

The lady in the front office is absolutely amazing!! So sweet EVERYTIME we stay here and we stay here everytime we go to gatlinburg /pigeon forge tn!! The room is good to sleep in but the lady in the front is the asset to this motel!! My husband and I love seeing her and talking to her on all of our stays and our dog loves her as well!

No breakfast Rooms need updated a paint job, tv did not pick up channels
