The hotel smelled wet musty and like weed. The walls and carpet are outdated and filthy! Our room was revolting! Our first room was located in the tower and I did not want to touch anything in the building. Thank goodness our key didn’t work and we were given a “upgrade” to the room we stayed in. I would hate to see the original room if this was an upgraded room. Dirty, holes in the doors, smelled like mildew, dead bugs annd spider webs in every corner and had no hot water in the shower. If it was not so late in the evening, we would have refused to stay. I would rather have slept in my car! I will never recommend or stay at this hotel again. Our room had a balcony but the room above us leaked so bad onto our balcony we could not go outside. This is a shame for a vintage hotel in a great location to be in this condition. Shame on the owners of this hotel. Charging any amount of money for a stay here is robbery!

Great location in downtown Gatlnburg. Clean and safe hotel. Good free breakfast and good coffee. We've stayed here many times and recommend this as a good, comfortable place to stay when in Gatlinburg.

Nothing The Room was very dirty. The refrigerator had something dumped in it and it was never cleaned out. Their was hair on the wall in the shower. The main floor was filthy. One of the beds had sheets on it that looked like they had never been changed. We were very disappointed in this hotel.

From the beginning, this place is extremely misleading. The "balcony" view had a bunch of trees in the way as close as 25 feet from the balcony and some limbs were in arms reach. We chose to switch rooms with a better view but still not as great as they claim it is on their listing. Our rooms did NOT look like what the pictures were on the listing. Windows were dirty, hallway carpet looked like it hadn't been shampooed or swept in years, the "dining area" for breakfast does NOT accommodate for all the rooms this location has. It has at most 8 tables with a majority of them being able to seat only two people. It was so crowded in the mornings that we missed out on breakfast on-site three times and had to go somewhere else and pay. Paint is peeling on a majority of the room doors, people have carved graffiti inside the elevator, paint peeling on the elevator from, laundry room smells horrible, there are two washers and dryers that are sitting on pallets. One washer was out of service and the sign on it looked like it had been out of service for a while. This place is a DUMP! This location needs inspected and reviewed accurately. These rooms look like they are from the 80's-90's era.

Great place to stay for the location and price. Breakfast was a bonus!

Everything.

no, from pictures it looks great! Going to try again and stay there..love the fact that it's pet friendly and has it's own dog park!
-
Clean and well maintained rooms. Pet friendly, wish they wouldn’t keep the whole pet fee. It was more than the room. I get it, it’s for cleaning or property damaged by the pets but if no damage or a real big mess Luke dog urine, or poo in room yes but not when you leave it clean. Better breakfast. No protein all carbs..

Good

Room was apparently under renovation and was missing a few things like comfort seating and bathroom accessories. but was not an issue for 1 night stay. Parking lot is frequented by roaming bears at night and staff will warn about them.

Perfect place for the value. Larger room yet a small bathroom.

I paid almost $500 total for three nights had to switch rooms once came in the room not only is the building dilapidated. The paint is peeling. The walls are cracking mold is on the ceiling. Water is spilling out of the air conditioner. The floors are so filthy that when my child walked barefoot across the floor, his feet turned black, no joke. It was very dirty. The light switch was broken off of the bathroom light socket. The locks were broken on both the patio door and the main door so I didn’t really feel safe and that was after we had to switch rooms. I asked the staff at the front desk about the refund policy. They said there was no one there that could tell me what the refund policy was. It seemed they were not knowledgeable or they were withholding information. They said the manager would speak to me in the morning this was during the first night of my stay when I checked in after realizing how dishonestly the motel/in was represented online, the photos are deceiving. The layout is the same however, the building is very much degraded, dirty, and not maintained the entire time. I have not seen anyone in the pool probably because the building itself is dirty and there are black bears constantly there every single day, roaming the property without any staff making any use of protecting its patrons. I would have left and gone somewhere else however I never did get any answers on how to obtain a refund so I could check out and move to a different place. They took the money

The bears were worth the trip. You’re having an abundance of amenities surrounding your stay and don’t forget you are at the front door of the great Smoky Mountains.. I give it a A+ plus plus plus plus plus plus plus plus plus plus plus. Our family really enjoyed. How about that. Best Family vacation ever!
