Very friendly staff, very clean room and great location. We go to Gatlinburg to hike in the park, walking the strip is not our main goal. However, this property is a short walk down to the strip but far enough away that we didn’t hear all of the noise from the strip. I’ve been visiting Gatlinburg for 35 years and this was the first time I’ve stayed at The Gillette, it will not be the last.

Location is fantastic! Rates were fair. Bed was comfortable. I've stayed here 3 times now and will continue to return. The walls are not very thick or insulated or something because you can hear traffic and commotion very well.

We came for the conference next door and absolutely loved how clean, nice the staff was, convenient etc. the pool had enough chairs, and shade which is important. We will be staying there for the conference in 2027 and beyond. Thank you, all!!!

The property is family owned and operated. Everyone was friendly. The rooms were clean and spacious.

The location was great to downtown Gatlinburg. It was just a short walk. The room was clean and presentable. The housekeeper was friendly. The room was tiny compared to the price. I don’t guess I paid attention to the pictures as much so I was very surprised to see how small the room was. It didn’t even have a closet or dresser. They need to decrease the prices to match the room sizes.

This is a beautifully maintained hotel with very attentive, customer service oriented staff and clean, comfortable rooms. They constantly made sure we had everything we needed and were so friendly and helpful with any request. There was a nice patio area to sit on in the evenings, and it was so close to everything, just a couple of blocks from downtown Gatlinburg. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
