Chose this place for the location so we could access downtown and not have to drive around in traffic. The walk and distance to everything we wanted was super convenient! Parking was great. The rooms were clean and the beds were really comfortable. Staff was super friendly. The pool was heated and really nice too. Will definitely stay here again

This was by far the best place I have stayed in a while. The staff was very friendly. And clean was an understatement! It was immaculate! It was in a great location. I will definitely stay there the next trip to Gatlinburg!

My stay was wonderful. Everything was amazing. It was clean, quiet and a very pleasant experience. The only minor issue my children’s phone and iPad would not connect to the WiFi. My phone connected just fine so I’m not sure what the issue was. That minor hiccup did not hinder our trip in any way though. Would definitely stay here again.

Loved it, good old school motel. Liked the location just off the strip. Pool was great. No breakfast was a bit of a bummer, not that breakfast is a deal-breaker but it's handy. Also, internet did not work in our room, that was a big bummer, thus the 4 stars. Otherwise it was spot on! Would stay again.

Nice place to stay. Staff at front desk were fantastic. Room was outdated but clean. Parking was easy and onsite. Had two older women sitting outside playing loud music at 12:30am. Asked them to please turn it down. They did but weren’t happy about it. Enjoyed our stay overall.

During my stay at the Gillette, I found my renovated room to be very clean and roomy. The staff at the front desk and the maids were very friendly and courteous. I didn't have time to use the outdoor pool or sit on the balcony. My balcony faced a building that was being constructed so it was noisy in the morning and not relaxing to sit out during the day. Overall, it was a great place to stay and I would stay there again.

At check in the renovated room seemed high end and staff were very helpful and accommodating. Housekeeping needs to be trained. She did the basics like replace towels, make the bed and straighten up. However, the floor was not mopped/swept one time during our 3 night stay. This is a message for all hotels that replaced the carpet with tile/wood/laminate. Ironically for sanitary reasons,but housekeeping does not have a swiffer,broom, or mop on their cart. This place is all about hiking in the national park and it rains alot. I don't think housekeeping in general is trained how to clean floors, molding, baseboards. Its a shame because they spent money on renovations and next year I can imagine the buildup. Also she gave us multiple soaps, shampoos and conditioner, but didn't replace the coffee??

This was our first time staying here and it didn’t disappoint. The room was super clean, the bed was comfy & the shower had good water pressure. There wasn’t anything we could complain about. Will be staying here again!

Walk to downtown. A block walk to Log Cabin Pancake house. On trolley route. Easy in/out. No carpet in our room. Clean.

Excellent location and very well maintained safe place to stay. Have been staying here with family for over twenty years and staff have always been excellent. Thank You for another great experience.
