It was our first time in the Smokies. We stayed here for 3 nights with our 9 hear old. The rooms were clean and the staff was great. Location was ideal to get to Pigeon Forge and into the state park quickly. Plus the parking ticket for the other end of gatlinburg was worth it's weight in gold. We'll.definitely be back

Great hotel … has a Trolly pick up that goes into town! It’s at the edge of Gatlinburg so less noise. Great pools and hot tub! Very friendly staff! Breakfast was a very good mix of food! Would most definitely stay again. Only hiccup was the elevator stopped working when trying to check out ..… had to take bags down three flights of stairs. We really enjoyed our stay here !! Recommend for families !

PERFECT location! I didn’t even need my GPS once I saw how close we were to everything! The place was clean and staff very helpful! We could’ve walked to downtown Gatlinburg, but my teenagers weren’t having it lol! I will definitely be adding this hotel as our go-to when in the smokies again.

This was our first stay at The Appy Lodge: 2 nights on our way home from a trip to Orlando. We were very pleased with our stay! The hotel was very clean, rooms were clean and comfy, and staff was friendly and welcoming. They also offered two pools; one indoor and one outdoor with a slide. Although the outdoor pool was on the smaller side, our son LOVED it. The location is perfect as well since it’s located near the end of the Gatlinburg strip, so you don’t get all that crazy traffic and noise. Plenty of easy parking, too. They also offer a free breakfast, but if you’re looking for something more substantial, next door is a very good breakfast restaurant that took us a minute to walk to. There is also a trolley stop which makes getting around town easy as well. We would certainly stay at The Appy Lodge again!

It’s a family friendly hotel. Good location. Mini golf next door is fun. The pools are nice. The room was clean but the shower had a lot of mold. Overall pretty good spot to stay. Breakfast had a few options but basic. The coffee was a 2 out of 5 at best.

Hotel was clean, quiet, convenient, staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great; everything fresh and clean, good quality. Only one thing would have made it perfect- small bottles of cold water or pitcher of water in breakfast area. Would absolutely recommend.
