The Historic Gatlinburg Inn

Location good You still need to refresh even if historic and keep repairs up. Took us ten tries to unlock with key.

It was clean and in a great location Nothing

Location Tubs and wall were moldy and nasty looking. Floor uneven

Location on point. The bed was terrible! Had to go and buy mattress topper. Many Stink bugs in room when coming back from enjoying our days festivities.

The location and staff are excellent. The breakfast is delicious every morning! Complimentary coffee and cookies are a nice snack! Every room is different, and we have stayed in several over the years. This particular room had no fan in the bathroom, and the room darkening drape was ready to be replaced. Neither issue affected our stay, or was a problem to be reported.

Breakfast is very good, location is excellent

It was clean and pleasant. It has a great buffet breakfast and the location was great! It was very old, no ceiling fan in room also no lamps. The bed was hard and uncomfortable.

Locations was great and the breakfast was excellent, I wish the room had a refrigerator that was a real inconvenience and the trees in front brocks the view from the front porch.

Very nice place right in the middle of Gatlinburg. They do a good job of maintaining the historic feel. Only thing I would change is to add smart TVs in the rooms

The location and the complementary breakfast was amazing. Some cleaning staff are very rude.

The breakfast was great. Hot complete never had to wait on anything to be prepared. Very good country breakfast. Only thing did not like was noise level of where our room was located. First room of main hallway on first floor, to much foot traffic and door closing noise early of the morning.

For us, we enjoyed the experience, but it can depend on what you are looking for in a hotel. Room was clean and the washer/dryer on the first floor was nice to have. Breakfast was delicious, and location is phenomenal. Everything you could want to do in Gatlinburg is within walking distance. Staff is nice. We booked a room with a bed and a sofa, but instead we were given a room with only a bed. Three of us had to sleep on one bed. I can’t complain however, the room we were given had a huge balcony that wrapped around the side of the building and gave a great view of the city. I will say that while the hotel is clean, it does have the vibe of your grandmother’s house. If you want something more professional and modern, this place may not be for you.

The common areas are as they were in 1937 when the Inn was built. That fireplaces give off a special cozy feel and the warrant of all the wood paneling and trim.

Location is wonderful and my husband and I love staying there! Everyone is so nice and we love the location!

Exceptional

The location. It was convenient to everything. Staff was amazing as well as the guest. The only thing I didn't like was absolutely nothing. The place is dated but amazing all the same. It is historic.
