First day handed lady my card for check in, she charged card on file instead. Went to room to find no hot water, reported it and they seemed surprised but would check it in the morning, never did. Looked at reviews and seen this had been going on for a year, didn’t look at reviews before because had stayed there in past with no problems. Had to beg for towels every day. Don’t recommend staying. Only good thing was location

Everything was very clean and ready for us when we arrived! While we didn’t get to use the pool, it looked well kept and there was a couple families having a good time! Breakfast in the morning was great before we hit the road! We’d definitely stay here again!

Hotel was a great price and in a great location. Breakfast was good and the hotel overall was well kept. My only complaint is that our room smelled slightly like cigarettes when we had booked a non-smoking room.

Awesome service and great location

We have stayed at this hotel for several years, but unfortunately this was our worst experience yet. Our room had a strong marijuana odor, which made it very unpleasant. The breakfast area was cluttered and dirty, and it did not appear to be well maintained. We have always enjoyed staying here in the past, which made this visit especially disappointing. We hope improvements are made because we have had much better experiences during previous stays.

The location is great!! The pool is nice, but our room you could tell at one point had been updated but the updates were falling apart. Wall trim was falling off and etc. Shower was cold and low pressure.. the elevator needed updated. But it was clean, easy to stay one night. And WiFi was good.

Not much options for breakfast.only few items.

Great property was right on the strip. Decent breakfast. The owner was very accommodating and gave us an upgrade. Highly recommended.

Don’t stay at The Wander hotel in Gatlinburg Tn. Our room flooded in the wee hours and the owner did not even want to acknowledge it. All our clothes and bags were soaked. After having to call the police the Owner said he would give us the weekend free. There would be NO CHARGE. He said this in front of the policeman. He gave us a copy of our receipt that showed there was no charge for the weekend because of water damage. Guess what? The next day on our bank statement there was a charge from the motel for the full amount of the weekend of and another random charge. I had to go to the bank and file a dispute!! So far the amount was put back into our account but the other is still pending. Do not go there. They are crooks!!!

Breakfast was blah. No real coffee. Room was clean. Pool was okay but no pool towels there. Room only had two sets of towels and when I called to request, they said I had to go to the front to retrieve them myself. I really did not appreciate being woken up at 5:30am on my vacation to the dumpster being emptied.

There is a clear THEFT RING IN THIS HOTEL. My family had things stolen as well as another couple staying just 2 rooms down from us, and another couple staying here at the same time as us had a strange "maintenance man" walk in on them while they slept at 3:30 in the morning. This was all in the 3 day period my family stayed here and it was of course the 3 days before July 4th when the hotel knew they would be busiest. The couple staying 2 rooms down from us that had things stolen from them too, caught the man and found thier stolen things in his golf cart under a towel after he said he didn't know what they were talking about. We gave them a chance to return our things and they never did. When we confronted the front desk about this matter, they told us that the manager was "on vacation" BUT as soon as the Gatlinburg police showed up to our room, the manager showed up suddenly back from his "vacation". We know who did it but conveniently our room was the ONLY room the security cameras were turned away from at the time. Even though, when we arrived we clearly looked to make sure our vehicle and room WAS INFACT in the line of view of the security camera, so they clearly moved it before stealing anything. I have MUCH more to say but can only put so many words in my review. This hotel also had huge cocroach's in the indoor pool area and mold in random areas of the rooms.

I mistakenly booked this hotel because initially it said it was a Wyndam by Marriott. That it is not. Friendly staff (some non-English speaking) but minimal amenities. Pool tiny, no hot water, bathtub/shower filthy and wallpaper peeling off..some stapled to the wall. WOULD NEVER GO BACK

Location and price The rug in the room was stained and looked dirty. No coffee or drink cups in room.

The property needs some work. It is in the middle of town, so very convenient.

Breakfast was fresh and hot. Rooms very clean and recently refurbished.

It was in a good location to get to the main strip in Gatlinburg Smelled, the air conditioner was loud and looked like it would fall apart at any moment, water pressure was non existent in the shower
