This spot is wonderful in service, cleanliness and the overall stay.

We stayed one night for an event at The Hollywood Bowl. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The staff were friendly and very welcoming. There are great little restaurants walking distance and a grocery store. Will stay again when in that area.

From the moment you check in, you can tell it is a family-run business. While the exterior could use some updates and the ice machine should be replaced, there are convenience stores within walking distance where you can easily purchase ice and snacks. The air conditioning worked great and kept the room very comfortable throughout our stay. Another big plus was the free on-site parking, which was convenient and appreciated. As a coffee drinker, I was disappointed that there was no coffee maker in the room. However, there is a Starbucks about four blocks away, making it easy to grab a morning coffee. Overall, the clean rooms, comfortable stay, safer location, and free parking outweighed the property's minor shortcomings, and I would choose this hotel over the previous one without hesitation.

Great place. Helpful and understanding front desk. Left another prepaid hotel because of how horrific it was and this place allowed us to check in early without extra fees. Thank you for understanding. Very clean. Very spacious and comfortable

Room was clean and had a fridge! Easy to get around. Staff was nice and helpful.

It was close to our intended visitation. There wasn’t a coffee pot/coffee in the room. Even tho it was clean, etc., I probably wouldn’t stay again. When I wake up, we like coffee. Even tho McD or others were close, there should be coffee pot/coffee in room so u can make the choice either way. Although some people may like the shampoo, etc in bottles, a choice should be given to use bar soap of which I forgot to bring. We don’t really care for bottle shampoos.Thank you.

Location Room was dirty hair every where on floor in tub I had to clean the tub from drain for water to go down Lights in room only half of them working Ice machine didn’t work and it was 98 degrees outside And staff in pjs at front desk for check in felt like I was in ghetto motel

The location was safe and well lit. The room was large and the bed was comfortable. When we checked in, the staff was very welcoming and when we needed quarters for the onsite laundry, happily helped us! I would definitely stay here again. The only concern was a lack of places to put things in the room. Near the sink or refrigerator, but that is a minor thing. The overall experience was fantastic!

I booked a reservation over a month in advance. When I arrived I paid for the room for a full seven days. I booked through an app. they chose a room across from the hot laundry and maids, quarters in a dark corner. I asked for another room. They put me in a room seemed OK I unpacked. Went to turn out the lights only to discover not all of them would turn out. There were candle lights that were lighting up the area where the bed was. I walked down to the desk, asked for help on learning to use the lights. I was told there was a problem with the lights and they didn’t turn off and that I should sleep with them on! I sleep in total darkness that was not acceptable. They said there were no more rooms available. I said I’m checking out. Did not use any of the amenities in the room and was there about an hour unpacking and repacking Asked for a refund. Was told you booked through a third party take it up with them. I told the owner I paid the full amount here on my credit card not using the third-party. He said well we’re gonna charge you for the night anyway - we argued I lost. They refunded the rest. I just wanted everyone to be aware of the unethical business practices of the Sakura Inn. I found another nice hotel very close to the Sakura Inn and it was $300 less than what I would’ve been charged at Sakura. Watch out for the Sakura it’s not an ethical place. PS the new hotel and room were much nicer!!

Good location Room smelled like urine. Zero soundproofing. We had to move rooms due to hearing people above us talking and walking around. The new room was top floor and thankfully we had quiet neighbours. Staff was not very friendly. They weren’t room they just were not warm.
-
The bed was a little hard. Another than a kitchen table they don’t have a comfortable chair to sit in. They only give you 2 towels. Stayed 2 nights was just ok.

The room is great, renewed, and the staff is amazingly nice. The AC sounds very loud, the wi-fi was a bit weak, and I stayed for a whole week and did not get housekeeping for my whole stay (but I didn't ask for it either; probably I would've get it).
