Great room and free parking. Parking matters to me. I only stayed one night but would have booked this room for longer had I needed it. I will definitely stay here again!

Been coming to this place and it’s always been clean, safe and staff is friendly.

I stayed here a few years ago and it was one of the best stays I had ever had in a hotel. This time…not so much. Seems like a change in ownership has happened since. While the staff was helpful (the iron in my room did not work so the front desk employee wandered everywhere to finally try and find me one), the property seems to be coming apart. Rooms felt a little dirty, some amenities didn’t work (like the iron, and some of the lights in our room would flicker and strobe).

Great location.. clean decent quiet motel for the price.. I would stay again

The person handling the check-in gave very clear and useful instructions for operating the shower, as well as the after hours gate at entrance.

Very very quiet! Wonderful difference from Hollywood. Nice lady staff member . Very sweet. Loved her mannerism and smile! Would come again... Because of her!! Not so much other staff. Oh well. Location...a lil too far from everything but you get lots of sleep!! VERY RIGID ATTITUDE FROM MEN. THEY SUSPECT EVERYONE.. Of something it seems with this culture in America?? Happens ALL THE TIME in INDIAN OWNED BUSINESSES.. HOTELS MAINLY. I honestly DON'T GET IT.. WHY THE PARANOIA.. STIFF FACES.. CURT TONES. THIS PLACE!!!! I experienced very little of that.. But is noticeable . It's a cultural thing I GUESS. I HAVE HAD SEVERAL GOOD EASY INDIAN FRIENDS... Nothing like this problem was present. I'VE HOTEL OWNER MANAGER.. ACCUSED ME OF BEING RUDE!!! for JUST QUESTIONING the lack of refund after NO SERVICE PROVIDED. WHAT A JOKE!

I had a great stay at the Sakura. It’s an older hotel but they’ve added new modern features to the rooms that are aesthetically appealing. The staff is responsive and friendly. Kudos to Raul the manager/owner for his hospitality. I had a few special requests and he provided the assistance I needed. The rooms are clean and spacious. The AC worked and they also offer a variety of television programs and channels. Walkable and close to restaurants and markets. Excellent value. I highly recommend.

When I arrived - there was a smell to the room like it was muggy since it was a hot day and no air conditioning. Anyway quickly resolved the issue with another room. Very lovely!

I was completely catfished by this motel. You have to pay in full before you can see the room. Lobby smelled of cooking spices and elevator smelled of cigarettes. The room was a BIOHAZARD and UNINHABITABLE. I've stayed in some questionable places, and this was by far the worst. The linens were paper thin and had urine stains, blood stains, and multiple hairs. Ok, well I'll just take a shower in the morning and get clean. Oh sorry, the shower head was completely rusted over, the tub did not drain and you get to stand in dirt and hair and other people soup around your ankles while you shower in rust. There was a badly patched hole in the floor. Severe water damage. General wear and tear. Everything was dirty, dusty, and filthy. I asked management to unclog my tub, clean the shower, and get linens. They did none of these things. Expedia called the hotel and the best they could do was remove the stopper from the clogged tub. Management refused to give me my money back. Expedia gave like a 50 dollar voucher. I checked out and slept in my car. This place has decent reviews on multiple platforms. Now I highly suspect that these reviews were paid for. I beg, you. DON'T stay here. And if you pay at check in you will not get a refund from the motel or Expedia. I will never book through Expedia again. You have been warned. P.S. I have pictures of everything.

You get what you pay for. This is a budget motel on a seamy stretch off of the freeway. They have done a nice job redecorating the rooms, but from the outside it's a typical motor court and there are zero amenities to speak of. It is a good location, not far from good restaurants and better neighborhoods. And it's a short walk from a Ralph's, a Starbuck's and a CVS. The rooms are comfortable enough, but I would only recommend staying there if you're on a budget and can't afford anything nicer.

Very good

Also, excessive shower water spilled into the toilet area and I had to use extra towels to mop up. The attendant was helpful here in providing extra towels. Still, this should not be an issue. Lastly, on a more subjective side, the dark charcoal color palette along with black trimmings and deep red accents made it for a somber, macabre, and unappealing ambiance. This was made worse by artwork that resembled concentration camp imagery or battle fields full of barbed wire wooden crosses.
