Baymont by Wyndham Grand Rapids Airport

You get what you pay for — the hotel is run down and our room was musty smelling with evidence of water damage on the ceiling. Location is convenient near restaurants, shopping, airport.

Nice hotel for price. Breakfast was pretty good and nice to be included. We had cobwebs and dust on our walls but the rest of the room was clean.

Easy check in, staff were very nice, room was clean, and had delicious breakfast.

This is a hidden gem. It is clean and well maintained. And it is close to the airport. I have had some bad luck with hotels at this price point and near the airport, but this one was a pleasant surprise!

Staff was pleasant and courteous. Room was clean. Check-out seamless. Gave me good recommendations for transport to airport since was too early for shuttle.

Breakfast is included. Parking is great. Love the area. Lots to do. Staff is helpful and friendly. The room was okay. Needs a little dusting, but good enough.

Had a problem with the extraction fan in the toilet, it was noisy and would wake up my wife in the night. I asked for it to be checked but it quit before it could be checked and this was fine by me.

Unfortunately, my stay was disappointing. The room was not very clean, the furniture was damaged, and the paint was chipped and in poor condition. There was also an unpleasant odor throughout the room. The staff was not particularly friendly or welcoming, which made the experience even less enjoyable. In addition, there were numerous unfinished repairs throughout the building, giving the property a neglected appearance. Overall, it was not a great stay, and I would not recommend staying here.

Location, price The shampoo and conditioner containers were empty. The airport shuttle was $15.

Our room was clean and I slept well in the bed. I have back, neck and shoulder problems and usually wake up in a lot of pain, so I was surprised to wake up with minimal pain. The room was clean and breakfast was typical of any other hotel (not great, but not awful). We arrived late and left early and so we didn't use the pool/business center or anything else. We thought it was good for the price and enjoyed our time there.

Breakfast was good. WiFi was good. Bathroom shower tub took a while to drain out.
