Clarion Inn & Suites Grand Rapids Airport

The first room they gave us the TV didn't work at all and the phone was not only disconnected, there was literally no phone line in the room at all. Creepy!! (My man said "murder room"!?) They moved us to another room and then the in room safe was broken. We gave up and cut our losses. The entire hotel -- including the staff/check in people--appeared very poorly groomed and disheveled, including stained shirts and smelly body odor. Eww!!

This room was not very clean. Staff had gone through and spot cleaned but the property itself was neglected and dinghy, in need of a deep clean (dust in corners, weird smell). There were also not enough plugs in the room. The one closest to my side of the bed was too far from nightstand and would also not hold the plug in, ended up charging my phone in the bathroom.

Staff was amazing and friendly. Room was questionable. TV was falling off the bracket and had only 4 channels. One of the beds in the room was not made right. Sheet was inside out and the duvet was half off. Bathroom was quite dirty. Hair in the shower and edges of the floor were gross. There was pop bottles stuffed under the ac, maybe it was just missed by cleaning staff. It was decent enough to stay in but could use some work.

The property needs major upgrades for being so close to the airport. It should provide shuttle service. It smelled like cigarette smoke and marijuana. The property could have so much more potential if it was maintained.

The room was clean, with a big television. The rest of the hotel is rusty, old, without any maintenance. Horrible.

We had to stay here last minute as our other accommodations were canceled on us. The staff was very friendly and check in was quick and easy. The establishment could use and update, however the the room was clean and it served us well for what we needed.

The price was very economy friendly I wish there had been an aggressive policy about quiet time. The IHOP 2 buildings to the side was good and my server was awesome. So, that was a plus for Clarion.

Was able to sleep well, AC worked, tv worked. Again - basics only It had the bare necessities met but that’s where it ends. The sheets had paw prints.. comforter was ripped. Linens in bathroom had long curly black hair on them.

Night staff was great at trying to help and understanding our frustration. Dirty microwave and a roach in one of my rooms, dirty sheets in the other. Hair dryers did not work in either room. Keys had to be reprogrammed repeatedly. No towels at pool area. The card reader at the pool door doesn't work so we got locked out.

Lights were out in part of the room. Pillow case and blankets were dirty with food stains. Swimming pool was closed , smell of cigarette smoke was very strong

Pool Smell, not enough towels, not enough breakfast, not enough out-let's, vending machines didn't work, couldn't hardly pull know in bathroom on.

Close to everything Room is not what was advertised. Mini fridge did not shut all the way, not enough shower supplies for everyone, house keeping did not come by to see if we needed anything, half of the lights did not work, outlets were sketchy.

The bathroom floor was filthy. The hairdryer fell off the wall. Internet was sketchy. Breakfast was slim. Manager would only compensate if we wanted to stay again. NEVER WILL I STAY AT A CLARION AGAIN!! Almost everything

Only 3 channels in the tv. They first put us in a room that was already in use. Morning breakfast wasn’t anything special.

Ok stay. Pretty bare bones. Could have been cleaner.
