DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Grand Rapids Airport

Some issues with cleanliness. Dirty pillows & sheets. Spider living in the bathroom towels. Room didn’t have pictured mini fridge. No microwave for convenience either. Also, if you’re looking to stay in Grand Rapids to get out, go downtown. This isn’t in the nicer area of Grand Rapids, close to the things you’d be looking to do. Plenty of closer options in the same price range and likely same quality or better.

This is the first time in Grand Rapids, Michigan for me. I found this place very good and restaurant in. It was perfect. Great meals highly recommend this place.

Very nice. a little dated

How close it was to the airport The room didn’t have a refrigerator. Paid good money for this room to not have one. I have stayed in less favorable chains and they at least had a fridge.

Pool NA

Restaurant connected to the hotel is fantastic. Pool was great as well. The beds were super comfortable as well. Overall was a great stay, Check in took a little longer then expected.

Rooms are dark and dated. Not what I expected for a Doubletree.

The toilet was broken/constantly running and the shower drain didn't work, and the faucet would fully switch over. Besides the bathroom, everything was great

I was slightly overall satisfied, it's just that some rooms came with fridges and other didn't. Also, I was under the impression that this hotel had free breakfast but it didn't. That was one of the main reasons why I chose this hotel but I was able to get free breakfast only because my booking came with it but if you had other people staying at the hotel they wouldn't necessarily get the free breakfast.

Cervice

Not much to like for it being a double tree. Rooms were not ready even though I tried to check in at 7pm. Entire hotel in in desperate need or updates and repairs. It was a rainy day and there were leaks all over the place. Rooms had no microwave.

The motel, staff, airport shuttle were wonderful. The really hidden gem was the low key restaurant with extra special tasty food... the sauces were delicious.

They didn’t have neither an extra comforter nor an extra towel. I can at understand not having an extra comforter, but we booked for three people and only received two bath towels in the room.

Great stay. Could've included breakfast for the price. Clean & comfy!

The pool and location No refrigerator in the room or microwave and after Noone staff was mean

Staff and the restaurant were very nice. The AC didn't work much in the night. It was extremely hot. The ceiling was leaking with a bucket at the bottom to collect water at the reception. The water didn't drain in the shower/tub as well and took about 30 min to fully drain every time one took a shower.

Sucked. Air quit working, no fridge in rooms.
