Comfort Inn Grand Rapids Airport

Outlet in the bathroom did not work. The other outlets were loose. Room Smelled musty.

Manager was extremely accommodating to our request for connecting rooms. Bedding and linens were very clean. However, room condition definitely needed a makeover. Doors chipped, carpeting worn, and pieces of molding not connected ... gaps and carpet exposed.

The building is very old and not maintained. The grounds were not kept up either. The furniture is old and damaged as well as many parts of the building and rooms. The elevator was very dirty. The front desk was slow and not very professional. Breakfast was OK. I would not waste your money here. Spend a little more and go somewhere nicer.

I wouldn't stay here if you have a choice to stay somewhere else. Property's a little run down. Dirty carpeting, moldy shower, an office chair that should have been thrown away, dirty microwave, holes in the sheet, no ice machine, it was broken. We found out on day two that our door never actually locked. We didn't even need our keypad to get and we could just push the door open. Parking was fine, our airport shuttle was fine. Most of the staff did not speak english, so it was hard to get extra towels. They don't clean your room unless you request it.

The room was clean and had everything we needed. Staff was courteous and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The broken toilet knob and I will stay at another hotel the price was to much for the room

It was VERY tired. Ratty carpet, felt dirty.

Continental breakfast was good. And the lady who took care of that was nice. Honestly, this is probably the only redeeming quality. My room was filthy and unkept. I asked to be moved to another room. Two days later, I was moved to another room. The TV didn’t work, and the bathroom was disgusting. Promised a discount, was never given one.

Staff very helpful

My room reeked like cigarettes and the stopper in the tub didn't work so I couldn't run a hot bath and soak my bad back. My room key quit working and the guy at the desk was rude about it.

Needs updated

The toilet felt like it was made for a three year old. Way to low.

Hotel is dirty and in disrepair. The pictures are not accurate. This is more a cheap motel than a nice hotel to stay for the night. Would never stay again

Rooms in that hotel are over priced for they sell for. The building is run down, now well taken care of. I had a small toilet seat for a child. Bad caulking job in the bathroom to cover up inconsistencies

Overall comfortable stay. Outside a little dirty but the room was clean.

I stayed 3 nights. Hotel needs updating, floors in hallway and room extremely dirty. Housekeeping didn’t come to my room. Staff did not greet. Didn’t try breakfast because of the uncleanliness. Will not return.

Cleanliness Very expensive and no pool or hot tub, usually hotels at this price have a pool and hot tub.

Only thing was the carpet in elevator flooring needed attention.
