We love Holiday Inn Express and this one did not disappoint! Clean, friendly and the best hotel breakfast (love those cinnamon rolls)! And the best part is a perfect night’s sleep on those famous IHG beds. Ahhh!

Poor communication skills, poor hospitality

I didn't like that my bathroom door would not stay open and the vent over my bed was hanging down.

We went to watch the LPGA play golf and had a room at a different hotel but when we got there we got notified by phone that our room had been cancelled, so we had to look for a hotel room else where. We were fortunate to find this hotel at a lower rate and much nicer area of Grand Rapids Michigan area. We will stay here next year at Holiday Inn Express. Great staff, clean rooms and a great breakfast!! We came from Joliet Il.

Reserved 2 rooms and when my wife and I and another couple arrived we were told they had overbooked and canceled one of our rooms. We had to share a room with the couple we were traveling with. There were people that had not checked in yet so why didnt they give us 2 rooms and cancel someone that had not shown up yet?
