Springhill Suites Grand Rapids West

Enjoyed our stay here. Pool was open late. Room was spacious and clean. There was an area to purchase late night snacks.

EV drivers stay away. While the hotel claims it has charging stations, only one was operational and has a 7-hr charging limit. Charging then stops and a $10 idle fee per hour kicks in, even if your car isn’t fully charged. If you don’t have an EV, this property is new, clean and comfortable- no complains there. If you need charging, choose another hotel.

No fruit, oatmeal cold

The room was super big. Awesome bathroom. Great price. The temperature is difficult to control. The window on the bathroom door is weird. Difficult with being female with a teenage son.

The rooms were big but also cozy. Really liked the layout of the bathroom. It was also in a very nice location in Grand Rapids.

Bring a sweater or blanket to stay extra cozy because the air conditioner is very cold but otherwise this hotel is exceptionally comfortable!

The day was fine

Everything. Was beautiful looked very new. Breakfast was great waffles eggs ect. Bed suoer comfortable room was nice and spacious. Just the way all places mostly do it.but I wish they would separate shower from mirror and toilet area..

Love that they had a great breakfast and always had coffee and tea available and water. And also like that they had like a little mini market as well if you forgot something or if you needed something. Sad that the pool wasn’t just a little bigger, to accommodate more people

They cancelled my reservation because I wasn’t there at 3pm!!!!!!!!! Unreal!!! No joke said we were suppose to be there on the dot when you CAN get your room! Left us stranded as we have an EV and planned our trip to charge there upon arrival. Front desk lady was HORRID and hateful.

We appreciated that the hotel is newer, our bed was comfortable, room/bathroom was nice, had a mini frig, was quiet, free parking, plus filtered water in the fitness room.

Everything thing from check in to checl out was good, no complaints

Staff are all really friendly and helpful. Bed comfortable with choice of pillows, shower was not very powerful but it was adequate. We didn't have time to make use of the gym or pool which was a shame but it looked good. Breakfast was poor. Not many choices. No pastries or fresh fruit platter, just a choice of an apple or over ripe banana and the coffee was weak. The first morning we arrived at breakfast about half an hour before it finished to find virtually nothing left which was disappointing. Second morning we arrived at breakfast early and managed to find bacon and scrambled eggs, that was better, but they soon ran out!

Also, the free breakfast selections were terrible. Will look for another place next time we travel there.

Great location

Other than a weird burn hole in the couch, the room was immaculate. Breakfast didn’t appear to have a lot of options so we just checked out and headed on our way. Pool was smaller and crowded so other than sleeping in the room, we didn’t get much out of the amenities.

Check in issues

Disappointed they ran out of ham at the breakfast bar. The lady before me asked for refills and then proceeded to take all but one piece. Seriously? Who does that? I asked for more and was told they were out.
