Staybridge Suites Grand Rapids SW - Grandville by IHG

The hot tub was not working properly, as the switch had been broken. Otherwise, our stay was excellent.

Property was nice, outside patio was great, stayed two nights- only dislike was housekeeping didn’t come and do the light housekeeping that it said would come.

Rooms were clean, but could use a few updates. The breakfast and dinner social were excellent! They had several fire pits and an outdoor gas grill for cooking. The pool and hot tub were clean and maintained. Staff was super friendly and helpful.

A full kitchen with bar seating and separate bedroom made our stay more comfortable. The breakfast was generous with a variety of hot and cold choices.

Everything was wonderful. Clean, quiet and relaxing. We hope to see you again. Also your breakfast buffet was above normal.

This was the perfect little getaway for my husband and I. A bonus was that they serve a complimentary dinner in the evenings M-F. We were not expecting that.

Great stay, room was great size, water pressure in shower was perfect, staff super nice and breakfast had a good variety!

The only complaint is about the bathroom and bedroom lighting. The light was so low in the powder room it was impossible to use the mirror for makeup or hair styling. Only two bedstand lights for the large bedroom were not sufficient. No ceiling light.

Every thing was great

A great place to stay with nice amenities. Our room had two separate bedrooms - each with a full bathroom. Living room with kitchenette. Clean and quiet.

1. Staff is friendly and helpful, turndown service is good, fresh towels are good. 2. Location is great, the patio is great, the continental breakfast is great as far as those types of breakfasts go. The room size is great. Having a kitchen is key for us. There are some downsides we encountered: 1. This is open to pets there's some odors and hairs that we found on our couch, hallways smell a bit like dog + whatever is being cooked. 2. We suspect the pool filtration system is broken. We stayed long enough that we saw the pool filled with new water, only to grow fully green in 3 days and then they had to drain the water again only to fill it via outside water hose, and then start to turn again. My kids who wanted to swim couldn't: this was probably the most dissapointing part of the stay, and honestly seems as though it's been going on for a while. 3. The inside of our room had kitchen doors that were falling off hinges, odd collection of plates and utensils. 4. One of our two bathrooms was grimey, our main couch smelled. Overall when I viewed this property it was rated a 9 which made us purchas. I'm really surprised by this having stayed here.

Room is very nice, utensils and kitchenware were a nice addition. TV is decent, doesn’t work the best; hard to connect own devices to it.

The rooms are pretty decent made me feel right at home

Excellent place weekend

Everything about the stay was great. Perhaps the one area to improve is that when I made coffee in my room, the next day, I didn't get a new coffee packet so I wasn't able to make coffee in my room again. Other than that, it was wonderful.
