When we first arrived, we were told that we already checked in hours before our reservations was made. First, there was no record of our reservation… then after looking it up by number they said we were already checked into a room at 1:30pm… we didn’t even book the room until 7pm. Computer issue, maybe? We get a room on the first floor, but it was literally crawling with bugs … we kill three roaches before putting down our bags. Large spiders were in the window. We left them there hoping they would eat the bugs. I know bugs exist in the south and being on the first floor just means we are closer to them… that’s why I didn’t make a huge issue out of it. Rooms were full, and you get what you pay for. At least we had a place to lay our heads for the night.

The staff when I checked was very nice! However after my on time check I asked if I could wait in the lobby for my uber and the gentleman behind the counter said that he is about to lock up the lobby any leave. So I couldn’t wait I had to wait I had to wait outside with luggage and all I could deal with the room with the price. Went to Walgreens and freshened up the place. But not being able to wait in the lobby after check out was not okay. And it got them the very low rating!

There was a live roach on the bed, visible stains on the bedding, hair left on the bed, and the overall cleanliness of the room was unacceptable. I did not feel safe or comfortable sleeping there, and these conditions fell far below any reasonable standard for a paying guest. I was forced to make other accommodations because the room was not sanitary or fit for occupancy, causing unnecessary stress and additional expenses during what should have been an enjoyable trip. I was told I will get a refund back for the unused nights, and now the property doesn’t want to respond and honor that once I checked out. I am requesting appropriate compensation for this unacceptable experience and hope this matter is taken seriously so that future guests are not subjected to similar conditions.

If I had to stay there again I would. The hotel was inexpensive and it felt safe being there.

A true budget hotel! This place has all the most important parts: a strong cold AC, comfy bed, a working tv, and close to NOLA. After looking around the room, it is clean enough for my liking (of course more spot cleaning could be done) and I can say that I did not find any bugs of any sort. The front staff was EXTREMELY NICE, I wish I would have caught the name of the gentlemen that checked me in (I believe one was the boss and one was new). My only warning would be that I felt slightly nervous of the area and surrounding. Just be on high alert for your safety (but that’s anywhere)!

Great staff good rooms good location I stay every week

This motel is horrible and I would not recommend anyone stay here. They gave us a dirty room at first, one of the beds looked like someone had just gotten out of it. Then the second room was barely cleaned. There were cigarette burns in the sheets. We were too afraid to sleep under the covers. And the final straw was the roach my husband had to kill before we left. We slept with the lights on, booked a better hotel at 4 am, paid EXTRA for the early check-in at Holiday Inn and didn't even feel normal again until we left and showered at the clean hotel. The pictures of this place are doctored. The entire property should be condemned, it's dirty and unsafe, and does not deserve to be on this site.

We had a pretty decent stay, the main concerns and complaints we have was the bugs in our room, and the poor ventilation, the walls were pretty thin as well, we could hear everything outside of our room.

We had roaches in our room. Had to have the staff come spray. We were offered another room but the issue is the doors aren't sealed properly which allows bugs to enter. So moving to another room wouldn't have fixed the issue. The shower head was leaking and spraying water on the floor. The staff was helpful, but I don't recommend staying there.

Room walls and doors had stains on them, drawings, cigarette burns on the bedding, bugs, not sure if they were roaches or some other bugs that look like them, it was honestly a very poor value and very low budget room.

The night clerk was rude and could not give me directions within walking distance to find food after my door dash delivery was given to a guy across the complex. Absolutely rude! Only good thing was a bus station nearby....

Comfortable and affordable Noisy highway

Maybe the location. Staff seems to be inconvenient by the guest questions; it could have been my perception! Now days, people can interact better with the cell phones.
