I canceled stay and left.

I booked this hotel for four nights but checked out after the first night due to the poor condition of the property. The hotel is run-down and appears to be poorly maintained. I had to change rooms five times before finding one where the air conditioning and most of the light fixtures were functioning properly. In fact, I removed a working light bulb from one room before returning the key so I could have adequate lighting in the next room. Many of the rooms were not clean and showed significant maintenance issues. During the night, some of the air conditioning units were so loud they sounded like jet engines. One room had a bathroom light fixture completely removed, leaving exposed electrical wiring sticking out of the wall. I initially thought the room was under renovation, but the staff told me it was not. To their credit, the staff was polite and allowed me to view multiple rooms until I found one that was acceptable for a single night’s stay. However, they seemed unaware of the overall condition of the rooms despite being shown photos of the issues. Because the hotel would not refund my first night, I stayed one night and then checked out. Expedia later informed me that I would receive a refund for the remaining nights. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this hotel, especially for families. The property needs major renovations and a thorough inspection to ensure rooms meet basic safety, cleanliness.

When I returned the room key and declined to accept the room, the front desk clerk told me that she could not issue a refund because the reservation had not been made directly through the hotel. That is why I am requesting that you refund the amount I paid. The refund may be issued as a credit to my Hotels.com account. As a result, my son and I had to spend those two nights at the home of relatives, who, thankfully, were able to take us in.

Rooms were not clean there was roaches on beds, reported and showed clerk pictures sent to another room and it was worst due to foul smelling carpet.

The staff wouldn’t treat right when I check in and and give me the smell smoke room
-
The place is run down and I didn’t feel safe.
-
They keep the lobby locked so you’re stuck stand outside waiting for someone to let you in. My first room had roaches. Second room the shower didn’t work. The third room was somewhat acceptable. We booked multiple nights and after one, the key card no longer worked. I’ve have stayed at La Quinta motels before but this is the worst place I’ve ever stayed at.
