Best Western Northwest Indiana Inn

Due to recent storm damage the hotel is under storm remediation so it’s in various stages of repair. It was clean and the staff was very helpful.

My room looked like it was under construction. Foam board and tape on the wall. High humidity. Carpet tacks visible at bathroom entrance. I stepped on a tack board and fortunately blood was not drawn. Good coffee. Only Fox fake news channel available. Hallways had large pieces of peeling wallpaper. Desk rep would not print out a check out receipt for me, so I don't know if the charges were correct. Check in staff member was very nice and cordial. I won't be back.

The entire hotel was wrapped with duct tapes and card board, with floor tiles pending to be installed. As per the front lady it was due to an earlier storm. It seemed to cause huge damage to the property. During our stay, we could feel the humidity and soaked smell, and the bedding didn't feel dried. Hope that once the repair was complete everything would go better. Otherwise staff was friendly and room was generally clean.

I neither liked or disliked Wild life was out and the food was not good

I didnt like how when we first come in only one person was working the counter the other workers were talking like we wasn't there. The rooms was dirty n had a mildew smell I had to clean n remove the shower curtain. The only person who was helpful was the older African American lady that works the counter

The room was what I expected for the price. However, it felt damp. Like a wetness throughout the room that couldn’t be seen. But, staff was extra friendly and it was convenient for our stay.

The staff were very helpful and understanding during a very stressful night when all the power went out during a storm.
