Hampton Inn & Suites Hammond

Hey I arrived and the guy at front desk charged me the accidental fee which I know is always mandatory but after checking out and leaving I realized he charged me two different transactions one $75.00 and one $250.00 I had to contact Expedia to help me get my refund I’m not sure how he did that and didn’t let me know what he was charging me for aside from the accidental fee

AC worked well but was noisy when turning off. Breakfast was fine, liked the patriotic strawberry waffles with red white and blue sprinkles, nice touch, along with eggs, sausage, and the scones were different and good! I was quite full after breakfast which ended at 10am. I'd stay again if in the area and recommend to others. It is a nice property. The only other issue I had was when going to breakfast, on my floor there were two housekeepers waiting for elevator, each needed one with their cart, and I had to wait for Elevator to come 3 times to finally get in. They didn't engage, talk, say hi, or let guests go ahead of them.

Hotel was great but Expedia wasn’t

It was a little noisy after hours by other travelers. The breakfast was real good.

Staff was amazing

Nice clean hotel. Bed was a little too firm for my tastes. Check-in Staff was friendly. Good breakfast.

They are too stingy with the shower. Water hardly comes out of the shower. Keep spending 40-50 mins because of little shower drippings. Complained to helpdesk, they didn’t do anything to fix the shower.

Room was quite spacious and clean! Pool just had a little too much chlorine

The elevator floor needs replacing. Terrible first image for your brand. Also, the room that I had needed some TLC. The charging outlets were old and wouldn’t hold any of the plugs we had. Staff was super friendly.

Staff was friendly, easy check-in. Shower door handles were broken and a potato chip was on the floor. But it was average
