Comfort Inn Hammond I-94

Breakfast was very generic and not tasteful, the worker's were polite and helpful, and the toilet in the room was constantly running had to repair it myself in order to have some peace and quiet.

Check in process took well over 30 minutes. Staff was friendly but did not seem well trained. Room was extremely humid when we arrived.

The he location was perfect for what we needed

It’s definitely in a good spot if you are okay with a busy metropolitan area of Chicago.

OK, A few cocktoaches in the room toilet loose on the floor, thermostat did not work well.

The hotel was better than okay but hardly the 9.4 Wonderful Rating it got. Not even close. I am writing this review because I feel like I was conned. Nothing wrong with this hotel, other than the flimsy bathroom door was warped and wouldn't close fully, but, despite this gripe, and the water pressure was minimal, the staff was very nice and the room was both comfortable and clean. I'd give my experience a Very Good but no more.

I was impressed with the breakfast choices. There was sausage,bacon and a premade omelet or egg patty along with fresh fruit, waffles,cereal,yogurt and many others. More choices than I have seen in many hotels. The rooms were clean, beds comfortable and room was quiet We took the train into Chicago so it was about a 10 minute drive to train station. The hotel is also only a 30 minute drive to one of Lake Michigan beaches

Nice property

When we arrived, we were given a room that was already occupied. This was very concerning and uncomfortable. Fortunately, the other guest was clothed and understanding. Glitches happen, but didn't start things off well. We also had booked an accessible room and the (new) room was not. The TV in our (new) room had five circles burned into it. Still usable, but not awesome nor a sign of good care. The bedding was stained, but seemed clean. Pool was fine and warm. They advertise breakfast, but the chairs were turned up onto the tables and nothing was out. We decided to just check out at try a nearby McDonald's but there wasn't anyone at the front desk for some time.

Clean and quiet

The room was wonderful! It was clean and large, and it even had a little dining nook that enhanced our experience. The breakfast was good, and the staff was friendly. My second time staying here, and both experiences exceeded expectations. Thank you!

clean and satisfied for 1 night. Breakfast looked great but we just got coffee. Didn't like when checking in staff was seating and talking in Spanish and felt uncomfortable. They kid of gave us the stare down.

This hotel was okay for what I needed, which was just a place to sleep for one night on a road trip. However, when I booked the room in June of 2026, there was an average rating of 9.2, which I did not find the room or the facility matched that rating (gritty floors, grimy elevators, etc). Basically, if you just simply need a place to sleep, you’ll survive here.

Room toilet was covered in what seemed to be weeks of urine. Ice machine sounded like a running toilet. Kids playing in hall all hours of the day and night. Pool was not clean

Pool was green and cold water. Could not have been safe to swim in. We booked this hotel because we wanted a pool and we couldn't even use it. Also the parking lot and surrounding area seemed very unsafe. Would not recommend for anyone.

Quite and easy access to restaurants and freeways. Staff was friendly and helpful.
