Motel 6 Hammond, IN - Chicago Area

Location good. The room, sheets, and bathroom were clean No welcome area just person behind glass. Motel had old dirty siding and dirty parking lot. The air conditioner sounded like a semi was reving it's engine beside my bed. It said it had been remodeled. If that was remodeled I am glad I didn't see it before.

Don't stay

Too many people outside talking til 3 am. The hotel is good but the element of people staying there had no regard to others we couldn't sleep.

This was a disaster of a place. A leak left water under the floorboards the seeps through every time we took a step. We were kept awake all night by people shouting in the parking lot and doors slamming. The blankets were paper thin and there were hairs left all over the shower. Would by no means recommend staying here.

I arrived at this hotel to find a random "homeless" person sitting outside the room we secured with 2 dogs with no plans of leaving. I entered the room and checked it before sitting down. The mattress was very stained and the room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. I immediately left to another hotel that was safer and definitely cleaner.
