Econo Lodge Harrisburg - Hershey North

This is the dirtiest motel I have ever seen, bar none! The landscaping outside was just weeds, looked horrible. There is a burned out shed in the parking lot. Inside looks worse. The rugs were filthy, grease stains. The lobby smelled horribly. Outside the back door of the lobby were several paint cans stacked up. Of course, no elevator. I followed the grease stained carpet up the stairs, carrying my suit case. When I opened the door to my room, things actually turned worse. It was a linoleum tiled floor and many of the tiles were cracked with pieces missing. The room smelled worse than the lobby and I’m sure if looked, I would find the dead body creating the smell! Turned around and checked out. This place should be condemned. No exaggeration whatsoever in this review.

I have stayed at better motels for less than half of the price. Tha lobby looks great, then you walk down the hall to your room...men's room out of order, water fountain covered with a plastic bag, I think the wifi router wrapped in wires like a spider web and some of the motion detector lights in the worked, some didn't. Got to our room, no glasses nor any coffee for the coffee pot. One bath towel, one wash clothe & one hand towel, but 2 bath mats for a room for 2. The landscaping, and I use that word loosely, was overgrown bushes, trees with all the branches cut off & only the trunk left standing, but the weeds were thriving...lol

How about giving paying customers more than one towel and not having a half used roll of toilet paper when we walked in the room. The floor was sticky and the toilet moved when my family sat on it. Do better. The outside look just as bad. Unbelievable.

This place was terrible. I would give it no stars if that was an option. Before even stepping inside you can see the place was unkept. So much over growth outside. Once we walked in it was worse. Stains on the lobby sofa and the carpet was extremely dirty to say the least. It was so bad we refused to stay. We requested a refund and we have been denied. The place looks nothing like the photos posted online. We are highly disappointed in this place and in Expedia for recommending it. Stay away.

When I checked into my room, there was someone else’s clothes in the dresser. The shower head was shooting all over the place. The floor had some spots peeling up. The bathroom floor had broken tiles I woke up to the toilet overflowing. Went to the front desk and got a plunger to fix the mess. When going down to breakfast there was 1 packet of oatmeal, and bagels, cream cheese and butter. The water machine was broken. There was very few coffee pods left. The property was very overgrown and nothing like the pictures. The whole place smelled musty. The two workers I interacted with were helpful and friendly. The bed was comfortable. Those were the only two positives.

Affordable and had everything we needed for a one night quick stay. would go back.

The staff and stay was terrible location was great I will never stay here again the room was ran down mildew everywhere 🤐🤐

Hotel is older and rundown. Light didn’t work in our room and they could have been cleaner. Stayed here for a concert at Hershey. It was cheap and fine for one night.

Floor in our room was visibly damaged and the TV would not turn on.

Location was filthy. My room did not have a smoke detector in it. There were wires hanging out of the ceiling. I took a lot of photos went down to the front desk and they said they could show me another room. I looked at the other room and it was even worse. I did not stay and asked for a refund.

The people were lovely, but there was no breakfast, the lights in the bathroom didn’t work, and it was raining through the wall. My husband got up to look out the window at the storm and realized the water was coming in under the window above the a/c unit.

Honestly, severely disappointed in our stay here. Thank goodness it was only 1 night, because any more and I would’ve been looking to go to a different hotel. It was super dirty, looks like it hadn’t been cleaned. Our sheets has stains on them, the bathroom had brown splatter all over the door, the door of the bathroom was stuck and would barely open and close. Hair, dirt, and bugs everywhere. I would not recommend staying here, and apparently neither would other people because there were only 2 other cars in the parking lot.

I should’ve looked closer at prior reviews. Elevator was broken, toilet rocked, there was a dirty towel outside of the shower when we checked into the room. Sink faucet did not appear to have been cleaned. The air conditioning unit was disgusting and rattled. Booked two nights and only stayed one night

1. Upon entering the parking lot from a gravel driveway, there were several lawn mowers and other landscaping equipment parked haphazardly in the front of the building. All of which appeared to be unusable. 2. The first thing we noticed when we entered the room was the door was not locked, the deadlock was left in between the casing and the door. The floor was vinyl not carpet which seemed odd. The flooring was peeling up with a black substance between the planks. Not sure if they were trying to fill the gaps or if it might have been mold? I have a picture of this. 3. We noticed a dripping sound and followed it to the air conditioner where we could see the outdoors. There did not seem to be any caulking around it. 4. The fire alarm located in the ceiling was covered with a plastic bag which rendered it useless. I have a picture. 5. Bathroom was missing an electrical cover. I have a picture.

This place has not been updated since the 80’s. The smell of mold reeks throughout the property. The bedsheets were the only clean thing in the room. The hot water handle in the sink was broken off. No battery in the smoke detector. The grime on every surface was gross. Shame on anyone who recommends this place.

A plain beagle and coffee was breakfast. Needs a refresh and deep cleaning
