Scottish Inns & Suites Harrisburg - Hershey North

It seems like people are living there and it needs a lot of cleaning and renovation. The beds were full not queen and the foundation of the beds were terrible.

Nothing toilet was terribly. Need to be replaced.

The staff was very helpful and courteous

Next room smelled horribly of smoke as well as did the hallway. Staff and clientele was not too welcoming when arriving as you had to walk through the party of people at the entrance smoking , cussing and shouting.

The staff was friendly. The manager was super helpful about where to get food before checking out. Our room wasn't clean. There was open used soap in the bathroom. There were bottles of water on top of the fridge. And there were personal makeup items under the bed.

This hotel is undergoing renovations right now and while I understand that, there should be some things that shouldn't change because of it. Our room looked clean however the socks that we wore collected so much dirt from the floor they are no longer white. The bathroom needs renovation badly. The mirrors are peeling, the floor is also dirty and when I adjusted the shower head black pieces of dirt came out, as well as all faucets in the shower were loose. Also housekeeping knocked on the door at 10:30 in the morning as we were leaving for the day and we said yes please clean. When we arrived back at 10:00pm our room was only half clean and the door was not pulled shut all the way. Also, there was no security lock at the top of the door. After this experience, I don't think we will be going back to a Scottish Inn. I understand that it's a 2 star hotel and the rooms were not expensive but security and cleanliness should not be compromised.

Lid that would not open. My lungs hurt from being there just a few minutes, and I had to take a benedryl just to sleep. I woke up with a back pain from the protruding bed springs to the realization that the comforter smelled like old body fluid. A maintenance vehicle was double parked in two handicap spots. It had advertised as a clean hotel with a place to buy food and premium beds (all untrue) that should cost $125+ per night, but the walk-in price was $40. We had paid in advance and could not get our money back.

The manager was immaculate, professional polite and overall amazing. Absolutely nothing

We enjoyed our stay while visiting Hershey Park!

Location Breakfast was mid. TV had no local stations

They are nice people It was clean.

The hotel was 12 mins away from where I needed to be, just off the interstate, easy on and off. Granted they seem to be remodeling but my room must be on the later part of the list.

You should remove this property as a potential place to stay. I feel cheated when it says inns and suites. It should advertise as a complete dump and you don’t care about your guests. I feel this listing is false advertising.

We check in on a Thursday. The lady carol who checked us in was amazing and very informational. However, the other staff we came across was horrible. The manager manny should not be running a hotel at all. Not only does he look like a slob he treats customers awful and very Argumentive. Between friends and our own family we had four rooms. Our ac didn’t work but thankfully carol was able to get me a fan and fix our smoke detector. My mother’s room had the coat hanger wrack fall on her and cut her open on her hand. The hotel is very outdated. It was smelly and could have used extra attention to cleaning. My husbands sheets had love stains on them. The breakfast was terrible. Old donuts and the floors were very sticky. On top of that ice machine was broken and the bench my mother sat on outside lifted on the opposite side instead of being screwed in. My mother ended up falling on the ground. The weekend staff and with the manager there who worked all the trash cans around were overflowed with trash. I would not recommend for anyone. The only upside was it’s 12 mins from Hershey
